Had to fix the bottom gap design flaw
Already had a wall magazine/toilet paper rack that I really liked. However, with the newer MEGA toilet paper size rolls they would not fit on the holder (they do on this). Purchased this unit just so I could use the MEGA size toilet paper rolls. As many reviews indicate there is a significant design flaw in this rack, there is no backing to the magazine rack. Once mounted the wall becomes the back to the magazine rack, which results in a gap (over 1 inch) between the bottom wire portion of the rack and the wall. Items can easily drop through the gap in the bottom onto the floor if not careful putting items in the rack. There are also no side walls. Plus, I did not like the idea of the wall getting marked up by putting items in the rack. The unit is well built; the materials are of good quality. To address the issue of no back to the rack - here is how I modified the rack. I purchased a 1/8 inch sheet of clear plexiglass. Cut the plexiglass to the size needed for the back (9.5 x 12.875 inches). Put 4 holes in the corners to allow it to be mounted in front of the four wall rack mounting disks, which are screwed onto the rack. I also drilled holes in the plexiglass at the bottom in-line with the bottom wires and added cable ties to function as the bottom. The cable ties were easy and cheap, I thought of adding metal rods, but decided the cable ties were the easiest, besides I had already put more time into this than I should have. I used clear cable ties in the bottom (see photos) and they are not that noticeable once the rack is mounted onto the wall. By adding the plexiglass it covers up one of the screw holes for each of the rack mounting disks. I mounted the rack with just the four exposed mounting holes. If a person wanted to use the other mounting disk holes, they would need to drill the plexiglass at those locations to allow for a screwdriver to get to the screws. Overall, with the fix I am very happy with the new rack.

Missing screws
I received this magazine holder in a timely manner, and it is sturdy and of good quality. It was supposed to come with a package of screws, etc for installation - but it did not. The instructions even said: if missing installation package, call this number. I called the number but was never able to get through. I emailed them and never heard back. I was tempted to return the item, but we were able to use some screws we had on hand. 3 stars because of poor customer service!

Nice magazine rack, but screws will never be flush
Easy to install, but as others have said there are no side bars on the magazine rack and a gap at the back. My biggest complaint is that the way it is designed the screw heads will always stick out and not lie flush. I still like it, though. I love the double rolls of toilet paper it holds, and if one isnโt inspecting it too closely it looks like a million bucks.

I ended up putting a different type of wall anchor in (the plastic flair kind) and used a different screw that was longer/sturdi
I had trouble with the screws and wall anchors sent. I hammered the wall anchor in and put the screw in and it promptly strippe out in the brand new wall in this brand new house. I ended up putting a different type of wall anchor in (the plastic flair kind) and used a different screw that was longer/sturdier and it worked fine. They really should have a different type of screw to hang them so they look nicer, but I guess you don't really notice them much.I wish it hadn't been the spring loaded kind and would have just been the type you could load a roll from either side.I also didn't understand why the bottom 'shelf' where the magazines/books rest, didn't extend all the way to the wall. If you put too many items in it and you want them too close to the wall, they fall through. But, other than that - it's great! Good storage and holds items.I guess I just had some things that I would have liked to see but all that is personal preference. All that being said, I'm not sure what the really expensive alternative was like and if it had these same issues. If it had I might have been pretty annoyed and probably would have returned it.But, at this price, it's a great look and it functions pretty well.

Great magazine holder for the bathroom.
While you could use this for two rolls of toilet paper, I really wanted a paper towel roll in the bathroom to quickly clean up the mirror and vanity top after morning use.

I love this t.p./magazine rack!
I love this t.p./magazine rack!...With having a family of 5, 2 rolls are needed at a time to make sure there is ALWAYS toilet paper on the roll!It holds ALOT of magazines...I believe I have had a dozen+ in there at one time...the only minor tweak that could be done to it, is that there could be a "lip" at the base of the back of the magazine rack to stop the magazines from sliding out--as there is about a 1" gap to the wall...if you put to many magazines in it, some fall out the back...don't overload it and you shouldn't have a problem.I will be purchasing a second one for our second bathroom as I like the look of it and the functionality of it.A descent product and a descent price.(December 2018): I'm still happy with this purchase. I did add a cardboard piece sometime ago that is cutout to reach the back wall...my magazines sit on this cardboard and haven't fallen out since.

great value much cheaper than Pottery Barn version
I have ordered 2 of the Pottery Barn double toilet paper/magazine racks. The Pottery barn hangers were so hard to install because you had to screw in a mounting circle to the wall and then attach to hanger to it. This one was so much cheaper and incredibly easy to install. You attach it directly to the wall through screw holes on the front.

It is good quality and easily holds two jumbo rolls of toilet ...
I was looking for a paper holder for one of my guest bathrooms and found this with the magazine rack included. It is good quality and easily holds two jumbo rolls of toilet paper. (Nice to have that backup right there) So it was installed and looks just great. The main reason I tried this order was because my contractor suggested a fixture such as this with screw in installation rather than one with clip-brackets. This one has four stainless screws and is perfect size to hit studs in the wall. The solid installation means: If someone uses it as a helper to stand up.....its not coming out of the wall and sending my guest to the floor.
