Excellent product and customer service
The load cell was received in excellent condition and worked very well. It was also quite straight forward to set up and implement even though it was the first time we used one. Online tutorials are a big help. The seller was also very helpful with an issue unrelated to the product itself that we had. Because of the great product itself and the wonderful customer service, I would definitely recommend this load cell.

Worked great
I use this to measure thrust from small rocket motors. Worked perfectly, took some time calibrate, but online tutorials made it very easy to do.

Works but If you want high rate look for another HX711 board
Works as expected. Tried it with an Arduino Nano Every (5V) and it passed a simple linearity test (300g, 400g, 300g+400g). Make sure to connect the load cell wires correctly, the guide I found on the internet had the white and green swapped. This board is hard wired to 10 samples per second max. Other HX711 board has a jumper that allow to sample at 80 samples per second, so dropping one star for this reason. If you want higher rate than 80sps, you can go up to ~140sps by connecting a 20Mhz crystal between Xi and XO pins as explains in the HX711 datasheet.Software is simple, It uses an out (clk) and an in (data) pins. You wait until the data in is zero and then issue 24 pulses to shift the bits and then additional 1-3 pulses to control the channel and gain for the next measurement as explained in the HX711 datasheet. Digital resolution is very high and probably meaningless, I am getting ~500 counts per gram.

Works with raspberry pi.
Works as it should. I hooked it up to a raspberry pi. You do have to some soldering, after that your set. Google hx711 rasberry pi and there are plenty of examples of how to set this up.

It's ok but it's not a 5kg range, more like 17kg so the accuracy is only about +/- 2 grams.
I like the product; simple and easy to use with an Arduino. However, I ordered this because the range is 5kg (5,000g). Since it's supposed to be +/- 5,000g, and it's a 24 bit A/D converter, each count should be 16,777,216 / 10,000 or 1678 counts per gram. Instead, I get 493 counts per gram.So the range is actually about 17kg. So my accuracy is less than a third of what it should be. As a result, my weight reading goes up and down by about 2 or 3 grams over time. I should get my money back but I can use it on another project.

Works great. Easy to program for. Worked first time.
The media could not be loaded. Worked great. Easy dev board to get working with arduino and python.

Perfect for DIY
This is a perfect setup for DIY projects using Arduino. It is shipped in a small case for protection and storage. The seller also emailed me a link to an instructables for how to use the load cell.
