I bought this for a few reasons, the first being peace of mind. This camera allows me to be able to clearly see and hear what's happening while I'm away from home. I can record if I choose or also activate it as an alarm if I want.I've been getting knocks at the door late at night, so the fact that this automatically switches to IR (night-vision) when it's dark is another plus.The second reason I bought this is so that I can monitor my pets while I'm away from home. The camera does move right-left and up-down, plus you can zoom in. You can also adjust the video and sound quality.I believe that one of the best features is the 2-way talk. With this, I can call my pets when I'm away from home and they make their way to the sound of my voice.It works off of Wifi, LAN connection, or and SD card. It plugs directly into an electrical outlet, so unless it's hooked up to LAN, the power cable is the only cord connected to it. It also comes with a mounting kit incase you want to do that.I've looked at many of these, but what sold me on this was the features, the amount of good reviews, and the price (I've seen many for double the price of this one with not near as good reviews). The app is pretty easy too once you get the hang of it.All in all, I would recommend this if you're looking for some home monitoring capabilities without having to spend a bunch of money. I'm very pleased with this product.

We got this for peace of mind when we leave our daughter with a babysitter. The cord is fairly short so make sure there is an outlet close to where you need a camera. After a few tries I was able to get it connected to our WiFi, and then log in and view the live camera feed from an app on my phone. If you pay a subscription fee on the app it also detects motion and records, which I think we would do if we were using it more like a security camera. Works well, and has a nice streamlined appearance. Very functional for the price!

The camera is easy to set up and use. Picture quality is good, However if you need a discreet means of viewing this is not it. As soon as you log into the app to view a high pitched sound is emitted from the camera. And when you attempt to change the view you get a loud clicking sound. The “nanny” I was attempting to watch was alerted each time I logged into the. I returned the camera.

Great little camera. I have had for more than a year and it still works great. I purchased to watch my two dogs while I am away and it works well with my iPhone. I mounted the camera to the bracket but it actually just sits on the shelf in the office where they stay when we are not home. I can move it remotely if the dogs are in different locations within the office and I can speak to them as well. I do not experience any noise and the picture is great. I recommend it, especially for the price.

I love it works great for the price it was well worth it. I caught one of my dogs being the trouble maker and thought it was the other one.

Even though it say for inside...we have ours on our covered front porch... It works great! we can be away from home and still get an alert if someone comes to our door...we can even tell them to come back because we are busy!

It is a piece of trash. It worked fine for a week or two, but some things about it are very shady. First, it always wants to download "updates" for its app directly through your phone and not through the Goggle Play store. These come from China and data is going out to China. When I put a stop to this the camera stopped working, now telling me all the time the "network is busy" and to try later. That is of no benefit if someone breaks in my home and the network was too busy to capture an image of them or sound the motion detection alarm that comes with the camera.

Had bad luck with this unit. It generate some static-y noise that I could hear in the room with it and which was picked up by its mic. There were no phones or anykind of rf units near it. Ended up returning it.
