Good camera
Love the camera but it didn't come with a cord to connect to the pc and get things off. Everything looks great on the camera itself but unsure of how things will look once I can get them off.

Good and bad points
Only used it for about a month (including a holiday to Mexico). Battery life is good but I wish it had a viewfinder!! If you're old and need reading glasses a screen is no good - especially on a sunny day!!! It's not as good as promised in low light conditions (grainy) and the ability to control the flash (suppressed or always on) is quite difficult (if not impossible) to control. Maybe I need more time to learn and/or download the manual - which does not come with it when you order off of Amazon. The zoom does seem good and the camera feels lighter than my last (similar) Olympus, which failed to work only because the battery retention system (simple mechanical technology) packed up

A great camera if a little barebones
It's a compact camera with a decent quality edge over standard point-and-shoots, but it wasn't the quality I was looking for. I think it's an objectively good camera, just very basic. No manual focus or autofocus points (from what I can see), so you're stuck focusing on center object. Leaves a lot to be desired. Friendly menus and good build quality, but don't go into it expecting DSLR quality.

Great Size, Good for my needs.
Seems like a great camera for the money. I just got it a few days ago, I like the size and the weight. I use it to take pictures at our kennel free dog boarding business, I blog and post photos everyday for clients. I need a small inexpensive camera that I can carry easily to capture candid dog photos. I will see also be using it on my vacation to PV, rather than taking my good camera. So far I like it and the pictures are good.

Terrible quality product and worse customer service
I received this camera, but made the mistake of not giving it a good workout, when I first opened it. We went on a trip about a month after I bought it (the whole point of the purchase was to have a good, reliable camera for that trip). The photos were horrible. The quality was horrid and the display on the back very difficult to see outside. It was very light weight and felt cheaply made...NOT what I expected from Canon at all. Also, the little door that opens for the memory card to go into is difficult to slide shut and I always felt like it was going to snap or break. I bought the camera knowing it was a refurbish, but I assumed (never assume) that it was in good working order. I feel like the problems I had with it are probably the reason someone else returned it. When I contacted the vendor, as soon as returning home, I had just missed the one month return policy and so I was stuck with this shoddy camera. While I understand the policy, I could not have anticipated how badly the camera would perform until I had a reason to take photos with it (the trip). I have tried on a couple of occasions to use it again, only to be so grossly disappointed that I wanted to throw it in the garbage. I would not even give it away to my grandkids, as they can take better photos with their phones. I feel very let down by the vendor and will not deal with them again I feel extremely let down by canon and the quality of this product. I also feel let down by Amazon and will NEVER purchase tech equipment here again. It makes me question whether or not I'll do much if any online shopping again. Buyer beware was never truer.
