Clock hands are metal and most have a distressed finish. Hand colors and styles may vary from that pictured based on availability. Our clocks do not include a seconds hand. Promoting a vintage appearance, clock faces are not covered and are easily read without competing glare from an outer lens. QUIET ENOUGH FOR A BEDROOM: Our quality, quartz time movements are quiet. They require one AA battery that is not included. It's important to use a new battery with a recent freshness date. Even an unused battery can lose charge over time. Beautiful clock
I purchased this clock for my kitchen and it is a beautiful addition. Workmanship is good quality and it is perfect for what I was looking for.

Keeps great time and looks good doing it.
We have had this wall mounted clock for a little over a month. Old one finally died which we purchased long before Amazon or the Internet for that matter existed. My wife looked at a lot of wall mounted clocks and this is the one she decided on. It keeps good time and looks great.

This is a beautiful clock. I also own the "poppy" one and the quality is fabulous. I have a lemon theme in my kitchen and it looks great.I had some trouble with delivery but it was the USPS problem and has recently been resolved.Great product. I highly reccommend.

beautiful to look at, lousy mechanism
I thought that by paying more a clock that the mechanism would last longer. But in less than 2 months it began to loose time. It really is a beautiful clock and looks great in our kitchen, but even the lousy $10 clocks last a year before they begin to loose time. I was very disappointed. I guess now I will get the $10 one and use this for art.
