Great Concept but with Poor Design
Whenever I buy a device like a Kindle, Tablet, etc. I always look for a protective case. Kindle cases are hard to come by these days it seems and I thought I was very lucky to find this one. When the case arrived, I followed the instructions and sealed my brand new Kindle Paperwhite inside. When I went to go read, I found the fatal flaw of this case... the screen protector. The problem with it is that it can get an air bubble inside causing problems with the touch screen responsiveness. A lot of the time I would have to really press down in order to make contact when I wanted to turn the page and such. This could be temporarily fixed by resealing the Kindle in except for one corner followed by pressing the protector down and pressing towards tho open corner. The problem though is that every time you opened the USB port protector, air could get in and the screen protector would bubble up again. The real deal breaker for me though was the sound. Because of this air bubble, every time I pressed down I would hear a popping sound. After a few minutes it started to drive me nuts.I really wanted to like this case. Unfortunately I could not get past the screen protector issue and returned it for a refund.

Paperwhite 7th gen
I bought this for a 7th gen paperwhite that i purchased during prime day in 2018 as none of the cases listed it as working for that model specifically I knew it was a gamble. I did the water test as instructed and it held up so i installed the paperwhite and it fit ok and seems to work. However there is a gap between the screen cover and the actual screen that causes it to be hard to turn the pages. That said considering it is functional and does work with the newer paperwhite and protects from water.

loved reading while floating around in water
Works well, loved reading while floating around in water. I think the other reviewers had me thinking it was going to be nicer than it was. The product worked well and is well priced, but the clear part of the screen had a strong glare. This was easily corrected with a slight angle adjustment, but I think I imagined the material being more matte like the kindle has. One mre thing I hadn't considered- it is waterproof, but there is no tethering device or way to attach one. If you are at the beach or a lake, you can drop it in the water and it won't be ruined, but if you can't find it you will be in trouble.

Almost nice
This case fits well but for the annoying front screen. It maybe water tight but the front screen sits off the Paperwhite screen and "clicks" every time I press to change page. I will keep the case but will remove the Paperwhite when not at the pool etc.

Need to remove case to charge it - anyone know a work around?
The case works great to protect my Kindle from water. My only complaint is that I need to take the case off to charge it as the charger will not connect with the case on (unless I hold it). This is very annoying but more so I worry about the wear and tear on the seal of the case by removing it every few days or so. Anyone find a way around this?

Very protective, lightweight slim case
A little gap between screen and case in some areas but doesn't impede use at all.\The first one I got the screen bowed out in the middle, after I complained they sent me a replacement and the new one was much better. I may have just got a bad one.

Protective, but cumbersome
It does indeed protect the Kindle from water, but the front always has a slight bulge, making it shift when pressed and using the touch screen can be difficult. The charge port cover also isn't big enough for some cables, but works with the cable included with the Kindle. We do still use the case tho, as it's better than a naked device.

Great fit
I haven't had a chance to use it in the pool yet but the case passed the water test with no issues and fits my Kindle. The case has more grip than the Kindle so I'll probably keep it one just to prevent the Kindle slipping out of my hands. The cord they provide is ridiculously short. I'm not sure how this thing would be usable.

Not so rugged
The case is nice but in reality it's not as rugged as appeared online
