sturdy for my 10’ market umbrella
we use a tall rattan planter as “base” for our umbrella in backyard next to our patio dining set for additional shade. We used to have it filled with rock but was not stable! We are using now this base pinned to the grass and we use some water-bags as additional weights inside the planter. It has survived a couple summer storms sofar!!!

Arrived broken. Poor welding. Do not recommend.
Arrived with a broken grommet and a poorly welded spike.Low quality construction. Would most likely not last. Do not recommend.

Awesome for anchoring umbrella in something other than sand
We purchased a beach umbrella for use in grassy non sand area. The auger was too hard to sink in dirt. This anchor is sturdy and easily grips into ground with dirt and grass. Easy in and out. Very pleased. Worth every penny.

Metal portion is solid, missing set screws, rubber sizing sleeves are cheap.
Welds are decent, 2 of the spikes are the same length not allowing 360 spinning to tighten correctly. Missing set screws to hold the pole..

Exactly what I needed!
This anchor stand is heavy and built to last! Assembly is simple. Two of the stakes screw on to join the 3rd. (Screw both stakes onto the bolt at the same time or else the first one will be in the way of the 2nd one while trying to spin it down.)The stakes are heavy duty and very long, which is a necessity! I didn’t push it all the way into my lawn yet, since I have to decide where I want it, but they are definitely sharp enough. I just jammed it in just enough to stand it up and take a photo, and it was already standing solid. It’s going to be nice having this around for umbrellas (beach or home) or a flag pole, but I got this for one of my Shepard-hook bird feeder poles, that snapped off from it’s anchor base. They sell separate anchors for those, but I figured this was the best of both worlds since it’s so versatile. It comes with 3 sleeves so the diameter of a pole can be as small as 1 1/4” up to 2 1/5” wide. My bird pole might be even smaller, but the tightening knobs are so long and strong that I know it’ll hold it up regardless. Very happy with this product.

Thick, sturdy, stainless steel anchor
This stainless steel anchor stand is exactly what I needed to secure my 60" solar light pole. The pole originally had a plastic anchor which inserted into the pole, but it broke due to the strong winds. This anchor is obviously not going to break.I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality of this anchor. I appreciate the different size collar inserts which enables poles of various sizes to benefit from this anchor. My light pole was only about 1 1/2" thick, and the anchor worked for me. The various collers will accomodate poles up to ~2".The spikes dig into the soil anywhere from ~8" to 12".This anchor is not cheap, but if this is what you need, it will do the job.

Worked...for a while.
Not the best engineered, it supported a ople for a while, but one of the bracing spikes broke off at a weld point when I tried to move it. Can still use it, but it is not what it was.

Cheap junk
Seems like a good idea. But if your lawn soil is soft or wet the prongs just pull out.If your soil is hard, you have to pound it in (we used a rubber mallet) and the prongs just break off. Happened on our third use.Maybe someday someone will use this idea to make something decent. But save your money. Don't buy this garbage.

Goes in the ground.
Little bit bigger than anticipated but it goes in the ground and clamps the umbrella well. I bought it to take to concerts or picnics etc so a carry bag or rubber stoppers for the spikes would have been handy as it’s quite big and sharp to transport. Also needed a bit of fiddling to get the spikes evenly distributed.
