Full Contact Hardware Telecaster Bridge, Chrome

While the concept is great, you can sure tell this is an imported product. The steel pick-up mount is much, much thinner than your typical mount, making it a chore to get string height at a buzz free level. Once installed, it really added a sheen to my custom tele style guitar; too much in fact, and it made the Lindy Fralin Vintage wounds sound harsh. Had to put back the old dependable Joe Barden on her.

Great idea and design, failure in choice of material...Wish they would have used steel or brass because the tone just isn't there!

I bought a Fender Aerodyne Telecaster and loved it except for the bridge. I rest my palm on the bridge saddles, and the hex screws on the standard Tele bridge are uncomfortable. I bought the Babicz bridge just because it looked like a good palm surface, but it surpassed my expectations. This is a quality machined device. The aluminum is much lighter than the steel bridge it replaced, and the adjusting screws are smooth and precise to adjust. The pickup aperture exactly fit the pickup. The pickup adjusting screw holes were too small, but the soft aluminum was easy to drill out. Installation was simple, and you can easily fine tune the saddles for perfect intonation and string height.Not only is the bridge comfortable to play and great for palm muting, the tone is fantastic! The guitar sounds full and sustains tremendously. It also looks great. My only gripe is that the saddle locking and adjusting hex screws use different sized wrenches.I love this bridge!
