Good target toy
I have a toy similar to this one, but as a bear instead of a dinosaur, that my nephew likes to play with. He's on the spectrum, so when we found out he liked the one we had, I requested this one so that he could have one for himself at home. He likes playing with it and it brought him some joy so I'll give it 4 stars.

Dinosaur ball gun toy
Cute, but hard for my 5 year old great grandson to pump the gun to shoot the ball. I guess it will build up his muscles. He's a tough little guy and love his dinosaurs, lizzards, snakes and bugs!

Fun for ALL ages, possibly even more for adults.
I'm a grown man and I'm not going to lie...I got this for myself to play with other grown-up friends (and their kids...maybe I guess). This thing is as fun as it looks. Air pressure guns that shoot balls (which are *extremely* soft and in no danger of hurting anyone) at a little dinosaur who makes cute noises and zips around like a Roomba...and then you empty the balls out of his butt - genius design!Okay, and now for the critical stuff:1. The air guns do shoot the balls at an VERY high velocity - again, they are super soft so really no danger to anyone, but that just means the balls go flying everywhere. Good luck finding all of them after you finish a round of this game.2. Shooting the little balls into his mouth hole is not so easy...I could imagine this becoming frustrating for some.3. Balls could definitely be ingested by a child...so if you're getting this for a little human or it will be used in a house with pets...you've been warned.4. The dino is not really built to last. I imagine he will crack or malfunction sooner than I'd like, but there's also probably no reason to be handling him aggressively.5. Turning him off was also a problem - I had the switch in the off position and he was still lighting up - just finally took the batteries out. Not a big deal at all but not working as intended. This is an easy "recommend" - not more expensive than any other toy or family game you might consider buying, and there's definitely lasting fun.

Hard to shoot
My 5 year old was really excited when he opened this for his birthday. He can't shoot the guns on his own tho you've got to have coordination, more than he has at his age. You need to push the handle and pull the barrel back for it to fire. He doesn't get that concept unfortunately.
