Galaxy S8 Plus Waterproof Case, iThrough 6.6ft Underwater Case for S8 Plus/6.2 inch,Shockproof/Dustproof/Rainproof/Snowproof/Dirtproof Heavy Duty Full Protection Phone Case Cover for S8 Plus

Shopping for a waterproof case for my Galaxy S8+, I ordered four different cases: (1) this iThrough case; (2) a Temdan case (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B071D85M8X); (3) an Armor-X MX-S8P-BK case; and (4) the Lifeproof Fre (here is a link to the same model case for the S8: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Z7TKH1Q).The Temdan and the Lifeproof cases I found flimsy in design and materials, which was especially a letdown with the Lifeproof since it costs $90. The main aspect I found flimsy with the Temdan case was the rear panel, which is thin, transparent plastic film, contrasted with the rear panel on the iThrough case, which is thicker, sturdier, opaque plastic. (The Armor-X and Lifeproof cases have similar rear panel materials.) With the Lifeproof case, after performing the water test, one of the small rubber gaskets fell off the inner, side of the front panel. The film on the front of the Lifeproof case also seemed quite flimsy. The Temdan case does come with a floating wrist strap, so that's something. ;]I thought the Armor-X and the iThrough were very comparable. The main difference was that the Armor-X has the slot in the back into which a variety of modular mounts / accessories can attach, while the iThrough has a simple flip-out kickstand. If I planned on using any of the Armor-X accessories / mounts with my case, I would have gone with the Armor-X case, but I don't, so I went with the iThrough. Although the removable rubber tab in the back of the Armor-X case can be used as a makeshift kickstand, I preferred the iThrough design. Also, the iThrough case cost $16 compared with $60 for the Armor-X.So, overall, I'd steer clear of the Lifeproof and Temdan cases. The Armor-X is a very nice waterproof case, especially if you plan on using any of the associated mounts / accessories, but iThrough provides an otherwise-comparable waterproof case at a much lower price. This is the case I ultimately decided on and have been using for about 3 weeks now, and I love it. It has withstood multiple drops and some light rain.

Literally received this product less than 10 minutes ago, it is very nicely built, not bulky, and secures phone perfectly. This only real issue I have is that it seems the kickstand is temperamental, some times just picking up the phone will make it kick open and other times it won't. I will try it out for a few days and update my rating as needed.1 WEEK UPDATE:So the stand issue I HAD hasn't happened again, case is holding up well with no major issues. Sound quality is definitely lacking but not so bad you can't hear. Now, the only issue I have is when using the kickstand, since it is off centered, if you touch the other side of the screen too hardd (as if changing a video, etc.) It can collapse the stand but if you're careful you can prevent that. Moving from 3 to 4 stars.

Performs just like a fireproof case without the heavy price tag, had it for about 2 weeks now and I work in a dusty filthy environment and no problems at all. I highly recommend

Amazing case. Very highly recommended. Fits like a glove and offers peace of mind.

Good product. The buttons are a bit difficult at first but got used to working it. It also reduces the volume significantly so I cut hole at the ear piece. This product will not protect your screen in case of a fall so I also installed a screen protector.

Great product I'm extremely satisfied has saved my phone numerous times and after about the tenth drop the case has finally cracked and now I need a new one

First time I dropped my phone it popped open and my phone shattered. Awful case!
