This was a great purchase for two reasons: 1. The collapsible sand box, it makes it very easy for my toddler to not make a mess. 2. The construction site gadgets, trucks, and mini sand castle toys are great!Only downfall was the sand was dried out and not really kinetic sand. It seemed more like regular colored sand. Easy fix, we swapped it with some other kinetic sand and it gets played with all the time now.

So my son was sensitive to sand on the beachfor over a year we couldn't find a way to get him to touch it without him cryingWe got this item for him played with him for about an hour and now he would sand on his face without a problem!The color of the sand made it fun for him to play.A MUST GET ITEM.

Bought this because the title says "Magic Sand" so I figured it would be similar to the name brand Kinetic sand, unfortunately, it's just plain sand that is colorful.It gets three stars because of all the stuff that comes with it but my son can't play with this sand in the house. It would make a huge mess. So we'll hold onto it until the spring/summer when he can play with it outside. If it didn't come with all the extras I would have returned it.I'll stick with the name brand kinetic sand kits and bags from now on though. Skip this if you want actual kinetic sand that holds shape and form. This isn't it.
