Schott Zwiesel Tritan Crystal Cru Classic 27.9 Ounce Full Red Glass, Set of 8

I love Schott Zwiesel crystal glassware, and I ordered these Cru glasses as companions to the smaller Forte ones. These are enormous! You could fit half of a bottle in one with lots of space leftover; after all, these have a 27.9 ounce capacity, and a wine bottle contains 25.4 ounces. I should have done the math converting 750 ml (the size of a wine bottle) into ounces before I bought these. The bowl size necessitates a shorter stem, although the stem is long enough to hold. Despite the size, they are elegant, beautifully clear, and easy to drink out of. The crystal, reinforced with titantium in the glass, is supposedly more durable than lead crystal or ordinary glass. Although they are dishwasher-safe, I handwash mine. Besides, the bowls of these glasses are probably too big to fit in the top rack spaces.Since presumably you'll never pour more than 6-8 ounces at a time into these, the large bowls will allow wine to have a greater surface area to breathe more quickly in the glass. Beatiful looking glasses. I wanted to buy glasses this brand for a long time. We were excited they are coming right before the holidays. After 3 days one of the glasses literally had stem falling from the bowl. And washing them by hand is a nightmare. Once they are dry,they never look clean and you could see even fingerprints

I have owned this type of glass for many years and have been very satisfied with them. My issue is these claim to be 27.9 oz but are just about 16 oz. Also one glass was broken.

Extremely thin. Afraid they’ll break extremely easy.
