- 8 pieces of OpenBeam 1515 extrusion, cut to 540mm. Our cutting tolerances are extremely tight: we guarantee our extrusions to be within +/- 0.5mm of stated length, and a length to length variance of no more than 0.2mm between pieces.
- OpenBeam 1515 is a 15mm x 15mm cross section profile aluminum extrusion. Commonly called T-Slot extrusions, each of the 4 channels captures a standard M3 nut, or a M3 hex head cap screw. This, combined with our joining brackets, allows you to build small scale rigid structures quickly, with just a simple hex driver.
- Each slot also is sized to capture an 1/8" or 3mm piece of stock material, allowing panel sides to be captured relatively easily.
- Center hole may be tapped for an M3 screw as well
- Black Anodize is great for optics application, where stray reflections needs to be minimalized. They also etch beautifully with a laser engraver for a silver on black high contrast look. Unfortunately, scratches will also show up more as silver on black.
