Just Delicious
So not too long ago I had the pleasure of stumbling across an author I had never read before named Ember Casey. I fell a little bit in love with her book His Wicked Games so you can imagine my delight when I was surfing through Amazon the other night and found Truth or Dare. His Wicked Games ended on a good note, we got to see the completion of that story but defiantly didn’t want to let these two characters go just yet. Thankfully Ms. Casey heard our pleas and brought us Truth or Dare. Now that most of the cards are on the table can Lily and Calder actually have anything resembling normal? Can Lily find her feet with Calder or will he always run the show? We have to read to find out and Ms. Casey doesn’t disappoint. One of the stand out things in this book is that it isn’t the same thing we read in the first book. Yes, there is a game but it’s a recurring theme rather then a formula for the book. Lily and Calder are brought back together in the real world this time, not the bubble they created for themselves during Wicked Games. This means real problems and there are a few! I loved how they tried to be a normal couple but for a bunch of reason they really aren’t and there is almost nothing wrong with not being normal. It’s nice to see more of Calder and Lily’s growth as individuals as well as a couple. Lily really tries to put herself on a level playing field with Calder even if she is terribly out matched and with the whole world now aware of Calder’s situation things only get more complicated. The way Calder handles this is shocking but once you sit back and think about it, of course that’s what he would do. Keeping their relationship from Lily’s father killed me because there was no real reason for it. With the exception of Morgan I pretty much loved everyone! Morgan however needs to catch a clue and learn when to leave. You’ll know what I mean when you get to that part! Though there were times I would have loved to see Lily stand up for what she wanted more. She still gives in a little too easy but I kind of get it, he is amazing and a sweet talker. And I loved the banter back and forth, it was so much fun.The kink in this book is exactly what I have come to expect from Ms. Casey. I’m not just talking about the sex which is hot enough on its own, but think kink. The game really expands their horizons and in some cases Lily’s boundaries. It was surprising to see Calder push Lily and Lily actually say no. And when sex is off the table according to Calder you really get to see a deeper side of him. Watch out for the rest stop, it almost made my heart stop. All I can say is if you are looking for a fun book you need to pick up this series. It has just enough silly to keep it light and just enough real to make you feel for these characters. If you haven’t started reading Ember Casey yet you are missing out in ways I can’t even explain to you.

One of the best sequels I've read
My Thoughts:After reading the phenomenal His Wicked Games, I knew I needed to read the sequel, Truth Or Dare. I had to know what was next for Lily and Calder, whether they could move forward from what they discovered in the first book. Lucky for me, Ember Casey is one of the sweetest authors ever and she allowed me the opportunity to read it. And oh my goodness... it was awesome. So, remember when I said that the first book had a lot more depth beyond the romance? In this book, it continues in an even more brilliant way. Lily's suggestion of playing Truth or Dare brings about a lot more intimacy beyond the physical. As they reveal truths about themselves and dare each other, they share these moments together that draw them closer as a couple. The further the game progresses, the more they realize that there is more to the relationship than their romantic liaison.Of course, not everything is perfect, especially since Calder seems intent on hiding something from Lily. She's hoping that their game will lead her to an answer, lead them to the place they need to be. When the truth comes out, in more ways than one, it is a test of the strength of their relationship. Whether or not their feelings were deeper than either of them let on. Will they be able to make it through this challenge and remember everything that they mean to each other?Truth Or Dare is one of the best sequels I've read. The romantic buildup and the passion between Lily and Calder? Astonishing. Ember Casey has created a couple to root for, not to mention one that you want to be in yourself. I am definitely going to be jumping at any chance to read everything she writes in the future. My Rating: Exceptional

Can't get enough of Calder and Lily's sexy games
Loved Book 1—Loved Book 2Loved Lily and Calder.Loved their new game.“You are—you are the one thing keeping me together.”In Truth or Dare, the game is actually invented by Lily. Calder is struggling with the loss of his family estate. The stress of losing his fortune and the news hitting the media is threatening to crush him. Lily needs to find a way to distract him from his crumbling world. And what better way than a game that promises to ignite fires in both of them?“I want you to get yourself off, right now.”What a way to get the game started, Calder! But Lily has some tricks up her sleeve, as well.“And I question the judgment of anyone who thinks it’s a good idea to send her panties through the mail.” … “Do you know what I was doing when I wore those panties?... I was completing a certain dare you’d given me.”Oh, Calder, you’ve got your work cut out for you! Especially with your self-imposed “no sex” rule. But if anyone is up for the challenge, it’s Calder, even in his deteriorating mental state. Will this new game bring them closer together, or will the secrets they’re still holding back destroy their relationship before they can officially start it?I couldn’t get enough of Lily and Calder from the first page of His Wicked Games, and the same held true for Truth or Dare. I finished the book in one day (because I couldn’t put it down) and instantly bought the follow-up novella, Sweet Victory, so I could get the conclusion of their story. And I read it in its entirety before I finally let myself succumb to sleep. I loved this series, and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes heat, humor, cunningness, and drama.

Superbly brilliance
I loved this sequence so much more then the first. It had elements of realism to what the hero was going through concerning to his financial problems, humour was on point and the sexual games as well!! I felt the heroin was too nosey; but the author had me invested in these two characters nonetheless. Very well written. I would suggest this to anyone who loves reading fictional romance!!! Loved, love this storyline. Written excellently.

So disappointed!
I'm sad to say but this book kept me up at night because I wanted to get it over and done with. The first book was one if the best I've ever read but this let it down I think. I just felt depressed reading this book except for the first chapter or so then it just got too depressing for most of the book.

Thoroughly enjoyable.
These two are perfect for one another and their games are enticing , they tease each other and I could not stop smiling whilst I was reading. Calder is very romantic whilst Lily is caring with a wild streak in the bedroom. A beautiful read I'm on to the next.
