The bold colour scheme first caught my eye and the title itself had real immediacy for me as an actor in training. I've been studying drama for several years and had begun to feel frustrated with my progress. This book really got me thinking and reviewing the way I'd been taught previously and made me further question the methodologies that have dominated my studies, namely Stanislavski and The Method. This book is very well written and helped me to find a context for the difficulties I'd experienced and possible reasons for them. The writer makes so much sense in his approach, which I found refreshing and innovative. I feel I've grown and made a breakthrough in my acting skills as I've read through the book. I now have more clarity and confidence as a result. Buy!!
