Graffiti (and other poems)

I love her prose most. The very particular way in which she writes. It’s lovely, lyrical, can suddenly grab ahold of your throat, and she sounds like ni one else.

It's refreshing to find a poet or writer who just gets it. They capture the time they live in, speak the thoughts of a generations mind, or just exist as is and allow the world to understand them, as well as others who are like them. As a writer who grew up in the internet age and performed her poems on YouTube, I feel like Savannah talks about existence in a way that is unique to how people my age came to get to know who they are. Unlike past generations, the internet played a role in all of our processes growing. It's interesting to read someone discussing how they experience life with those elements included. Poets who have been dead for centuries cannot capture this sentiment. She does.To feel resonated with in the internet age, with all other qualities of existing young involved, look no further than Savannah Brown.(This is just my interpretation of her work by the way, she could have meant something entirely different.)

Great collection of poems. A lot of modern poetry seems pretentious and manufactured, but that's not the case in here. Terrific work by Savannah Brown.

The cover is so precious. I love how the poems track through the mind and development of such a pivotal segment of growing up. Really captures it.

Just what I wanted

Lovely poetry, would definitely recommend

It’s a decent although short collection of poetry, but it really left me wanting more. I wanted more poems, more depth, more emotion. Not many of the poems actually gave me some sort of emotional response. A few of the poems were really enjoyable though. The illustrations are cute.
