Survival on paper is simple, in real life not so easy. These are perfect for real life needs! They are carb heavy, but also have adequate proteins for short term needs energy bumping to get you too your next step and real food! I have personally tested these solely for periods of one and two weeks only eating these and drinking water...yes I lost weight NO I did not have issues physically blood work taken within a week of the two week test had no issues! Everything was within normals...Obviously these are NOT for long term consumption in place of a balanced diet...however, if you need a lightweight easy to have no prep needed meal replacement for up too a week or even 2...these fit the bill exactly - I have them in my families 3day and get home bags. I know these are supposed to be for survival, but every time I open one while sitting in front of the tv... I can't put them down until they're gone ! They ARE the bomb... they EXPLODE with flavor and goodness !!! I'll keep buying them.
