Great read! I want more from this team.
The Titans have been my favorite comic since the 70's and I really liked Cavan Scott's take on the team. I highly recommend checking it out if you are a fan of the Titans or just good comics!I hope DC will continue to support this book, I want more!

Tintans Reunidos! Fantástica graphic novell!
É uma fantástica Graphic Novell com um argumento soberbo de Cavan Scott e desenhos maravilhosos (e cheios de ação/movimento) de José Luis. Aconselho a ler! Estão lá todos os Titans!

United they stand
I really enjoyed this book. Actually I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I like that this is not the "Teen" Titans. I prefer superheroes getting older and adding to their experience. Great artwork and lots of action.Suddenly former and current low level criminals are developing powers of the greatest superheroes. Where are these heroes have taken year to learn how to control their powers the criminals have no control and some do not want any. On the other hand Super Boy seems to be losing his powers and his identity. Is he just a failed clone of Superman destined to be forgotten in Superman's shadow. There is also family reunion on the horizon.A great epic story with nothing short of the faith of the world at stake. I like the two teams of the Titans working together. Nightwing is a natural leader, Red Hood there to question every order but gets the job done and is more observant than people give him credit for.

It's neither a tie in to existing titans comics nor to the tv series.
As this comic book series neither follows on from an existing series nor follow on from the tv series, then it needs to introduce the reader to this version of the characters which I feel it fails to do.Several of the characters felt surplus to the story; they had no stand out moments, they did not contribute to the story which made them quite forgettable. The ones who were pivotal to the story didn't feel very well developed with no interactions with characters outside of the story, no inner monologues to add insight to their feelings, their actions all seemed to drive the story forward, with the exception of one character. The same comments could be made for the villains as there were more bad guys than I felt there needed to be and their motivations weren't always clear. The story revolves around ordinary people unexpectedly developing the same super powers as some of the Titans, which I expected to be a fantastic way for the Titans to introduce themselves to the reader by telling the scared victim how they felt when they first developed powers and how they learnt to control them, but they did not. Victims were brushed aside quite quickly to make way for the next action scene, of which there were plenty.I found the book to be overall disappointing, due to the lack of focus on characters but also it left me with unanswered questions. I give it 3 stars as it is readable and the art was good leaving my interest peaked from time to time.
