Black residue was already present during the first wash before any use. After using it only once and washing again, the black residue continued to appear. As shown in the photo , wiping inside with a clean kitchen paper leaves visible black marks. The materials is very thin and clearly releases residue under normal washing and use This raises serious food safety and is unacceptable for cookware sold in the UK. I do not feel safe using this product and would not recommend it ! Refund expected !

Good steamer although it is a lot bigger than I thought. Would be great for Sunday dinner though. Good seller.

It worked perfectly fine. I just had to attach the knob on the lid which was really easy and only took a minute. It is very light so easy ti handle.

This steamer pot is nice, the quality and thickness of stainless steel are fine. But the actual diameter of the pot and steamer is 26CM, not 28CM, the size described is wrong. After 1st time cooking, the glass lid knob broken and can’t be used.

It was cheap. It's kinda thin and light. I really worried that it would be a waste of money. Folks, it's perfect. I *love* that it's light weight. I used to use a larger, very sturdy (and somewhat heavy) steamer, and I wanted something smaller and a little easier to toss around. This thing isn't remotely as sturdy, and it doesn't have that neato layered copper metal bottom that's supposed to be so amazing at distributing heat. It's not fancy at all. And I love it. It's so light I can grab it and toss it around like it's nothing. And it heats FAST! Instead of heating up all that heavy, fancy metal, it just boils the water. Fast. MUCH faster than my heavy, fancy one. In a matter of about 5 minutes I can go from taking the thing out of the cupboard to having freshly steamed frozen hamburger bun. Pro user tip: I bought a 9" trivet to keep inside all the time. This lifts my paper-towel-wrapped frozen hamburger bun up off the steamer basket, where water accumulates. This wouldn't matter if you're steaming veggies, but something like a bun wants to stay out of the water. (The water re-hydrates the frozen bun. I partially defrost in the microwave, then finish the deal with one minute fifteen seconds of steaming. The paper towel, which I wrap them in before freezing, absorbs excess water--both while in the freezer as well as while steaming. Comes out perfect!)

It looks very nice and functions well. The material is quite thin so it doesn't weigh very much. I'm very happy with the purchase as it has made it very easy to steam food.

I have been looking for a nice steamer pot for awhile. I love making steamed hotdogs and this steamer pot is amazing for that !
