This is a great basket ball net/stand. The only comment I have is the bolt holes of the brackets that fit behind the backboard had to be re-drilled to fit the angle and align correctly. There was no way in my case the brackets were going to fit or align with the bolt holes on the backboard. I would of posted some picture but writing thus review a long time after assembly. My advice - take your time have a saw horse to help support the stand during assembly and be prepared to drill new bolt holes into the backboard brackets.

The backboard racks arrived straight, but the instructions clearly show they are supposed to be bent at an angle. I looked at where they are meant to be fitted on the stand, and they definitely need to be angled. I contacted the seller to explain the issue, and requested spare parts to be posted ASAP. Their reply was that I have to bend the pieces of steel myself! I think this is unacceptable. I paid for a basketball stand, and expected to simply bolt the parts together. I did not expect to have to finish parts by bending pieces of steel. Just to be clear, I’m not being picky - these parts cannot be bent simply by hand, they are solid and need a vice and tools.

Very solid- nice to use. took 2 people abut 30 mins to put together- simple tools only.

Good sturdy build but the upright supports for the backboard haven’t been machined properly so the holes don’t line up with fixings.

We recently bought this product but in only a short amount of time a hole has developed in the top of the plastic base. There is a section where water collects and has corroded through the plastic so that water can now escape from the base

Our son purchased this with vouchers he received for his birthday. The item arrived quickly however there were dents in the pole which meant we couldn’t assemble it properly. The screws provided do not tighten properly and the backboard part was totally different to that in the instruction manual and did not fit.We have not been able to put the item together and it has now sat outside for 8 weeks. Costway are impossible to get hold of and have not given us the refund they said they would. Sadly I can not recommend this product or the company selling it.

Fantastic item!! My son absolutely loves it (infact, myself and my Mum have had ago, really good fun ha ha)We've had storm Ciara and Dennis and it didn't budge!Really happy with it, would defo recommend to others :)
