Targus Commercial-Grade 2-in-1 Tablet Case for Dell Latitude 5285 Travel Keyboard or Kickstand, Black (THZ707US)

Regardless of the other review, I quiet like the case. Mine fits tight, allows easy use with the travel keyboard and has ports wide open to fit cords and plugs into the device. Kickstand works. Pen clip is tight ( Sometimes too tight, don't want to break my pin). It does not look like much but it looks and feels just as sturdy as any phone case. I recently bought a screen protector to be on the way. Also any buttons, power and volume, still work great (I actually like it more). I don't use the shoulder strap or my fingerprint reader, so if you plan to use those, I can't comment.

I purchased the Gumdrop case for the Dell 12-5285 but Gumdrop sent me the wrong size. I guess I was lazy so I did not send it back and bought the Targus case. I immediately saw that the Targus was much higher quality and works very well with all the ways I use the 2-in-1. I usually do not write these reviews but I can 100% recommend the case. Fantastic!

I needed a protective case for carrying around a Dell Latitude 5285 laptop. There aren’t many other options out there for this model. The case seems sturdy and offers fine protection. Beyond the obvious negative of weighing the laptop down, the magnetic stylus must be clipped into the case and won’t attach to the sides like it does on the bare laptop. The power button is also difficult to press through the case, though not impossible. The case is too thick to attach a cable lock to the laptop.

This case and holder is awesome! very durable and easy to use.

Haven't had a problem with it. it's a hard case and I haven't dropped my 2 in 1 (thank god) so I can't attest to that but let's hope i never have to. haha. Anywho nice quality and it not being in the way of the kick stand is a big bonus for me.

I would not recommend this case to anyone.The fit & finish is not very good. The case is made of a plastic and hard rubber material that has a habit of bending itself in such a way that makes using the tablet difficult. If you use the Dell snap-on keyboard, this case tends to get in the way (bend itself would probably be a more appropriate term) when trying to snap it on the tablet.The worst issue is the power button. The case has your typical rubber button that you press, this in turn pushes on the power button and powers on/sleeps the device. Problem is, it tends to either push on the button all the time, or not push it at all. In less than a week of ownership, I've had to remove the tablet from the case three times in order to get the device to power on.it is most definitely not a commercial grade product. I use my tablet in the field most of the time, and I will be searching for a better option to be sure.

Doing work for an engineering firm and I needed a better way to carry the tablet, this case has answered this problem. We're hiking through woods, up and down steep road banks, and through culverts and road pipes with sometimes as much as two to three feet of water. I was looking for a easier and safer way of carrying my tablet. Well this case fill ALL of my needs.

I got this to protect my investment and its solid and fits well. Its also not ugly or overly big.
