I question organic. Taste is bitter.
It’s has a bitter taste, and I got a headache after drinking in mix w organic almond milk... are you SURE it’s ORGANIC??? Label says produced in China... do they follow strict organic farming procedures? How do u know? NOT A RETURANABLE item.

Expired Product way past best by date!
Product had a best by date of 2019-06-30 but was shipped 2020-02-29.So when it arrived is was eight months past it's time.Tasted bland and stale at the same time.It was earth toned and brownish when it should have been bright green.Should fit right in when I flush it down the toilet.

Good quality green tea powder
I use a lot of green tea powder for baking. This is very great quality! I am highly recommend.

Blends well and is a good price, however, the flavor is quite mild and i notice that i have to use a bit more than normal to get the matcha flavor out of it. I wouldn't recommend this for lattes, the flavor is just not bold enough

Healthy and better than Starbucks! It tastes way better plus it’s organic. Matcha green tea, strong rich flavor, great healthy start for the day. I loved it, highly recommend.

Not Fresh
Just received the box today June 10, 2019 and the item says Best Before Dec 2018 (see pic). This is not a fresh product and I can't send it back for return per the policy. Not happy...

This is NOT ceremonial grade!
As a seasoned matcha drinker of 15 years (since before it was a fad lol), I can tell you this is not CG (ceremonial grade). I should’ve known by The price but thought hey, if it’s not, I’ll return it and that’s what I’ll be doing. It’s not as vibrant in colour as CG should be, I make my matcha with a chawan, chasuku and chasan in the traditional manor, a thick and strong koicha. I prepared this same as I always do and it was so bitter it was almost medicinal.I made another bowl using half as much powder and still. Added a bit of sugar and it was palatable but still has very noticeable bitter back of the tongue linger after.Upon further investigation I noticed this exact same brand has another “CG”, however it's 30 g tin in a comparable price for higher end CG’s. No mention as to what the difference between this one and that one are other than the obvious price. perhaps the more pricey one is actually what it says it is, nevertheless I won’t be putting anymore faith in the saikou brand and risking it to try!COULD maybe be ok for culinary use or smoothies but if that’s what you’re after there’s better brands at better prices. I will stick to my Domatcha! Even their second harvest (which I use for culinary and the occasional cup when I’m out of the CG) is better than this.

Expecting more
This was bought as it says ceremonial tea and when opened it wasn't vibrant green sort of murky looking. Taste was average. Nice container.
