Thin strap. Don’t be fooled. Thought this would be heavy duty as they state “3500 lbs”.Paid a lot for this thin strap?……

These aren’t cheap-o straps like you find at the store. The nylon is pretty stout for a 1” strap and the ratchet is well made.

Perfect for my needs - strap the canoe to the trailer or secure a couple 2x4s for the trip home. Well made and sturdy. Going to get another set.

It is literally just the ratchet and strap - no hooks to anchor to anything.

Webbing kind of thin, maybe a little better than the 2 for $5 straps I got at a big box store, but not much. Very little stitching holding webbing loops together. Sharp edges on buckles. Just a cheap strap.I wanted endless loop straps and this is all I could find. I can make them from the straps with hooks that are sold everywhere, but it's kind of a pain.

The box has no rated load printed on it. The label on the strap says it carries LC=800 daN and Tf 256 daN. Without getting lost in the minutiae of DIN EN 12195-2, this is daN force in SI unit N, Newtons, is far less than the 3,500 lbs carrying capacity advertised on the item. I intended to secure inside my car a 20 kg, 45 lb item, about 1 ft x 1 ft x 1 ft in dimensions. If I need to brake a little harder than normal, this cubic foot will become an unstoppable missile and kill passengers. You are not just advertising falsely, you are criminally dangerous.

Don’t waste your time buying these they don’t even have any hooks on either end!

These ratchet straps are only the ratchet with strap attached. They do NOT have the other end piece that normal ratchet straps have. This is very misleading. The only thing these are good for is to tie something together but NOT for tie-downs.

A must have straps for your pickup

Useless without any hooks to attach to trailer,

I bought these expecting these tie downs to have the hooks on the ends. I had looked at several different types and selected these for color, rating and length. I didn't look closely at the information to understand they didn't have hooks (I'm used to all tie downs having hooks). I'm not going to blame or take away a star just because I didn't realize what I bought. As for ease of use, these work like similar tie downs, you just need to wrap the strap around the load you are securing, thread the strap though the ratchet and start ratcheting away till tight. If you can't figure out how they work, I guess you'll need to take a tiedown 101 class.
