Secret Saturdays Beasts - Sony PSP

Let's be frank, games based on movie/television properties have been... awful, at best. Given that, my expectation of finding an entertaining experience here was low coming in.Imagine my surprise at finding that there is actually a decent platformer underpinning to this Cartoon Network inspired title.Heres a rundown of key PRO points:- Controls are tight and responsive,- Graphics convey a colorful and mildly spooky ScoobyDoo-esque aesthetic- There is a large variety of enemies with unique animations- Gameplay is challenging and requires a combination of different skills and tactics to proceed- The monster hunting aspect of a game injects a touch of replay valueAnd then there's the CONS:- The gameplay is repetitive repetitive repetitive re... ok you get it. The main character has a move set that does not change much through out the game, save a few segments where you briefly control a monster, or another family member.- The monster hunting would be more fun if it DID something. You essentially scan monsters just to add them to your database, and thats it.- The story line captures the shallow cheeziness of the Scooby Doo cartoons that it pays homage to a little too well.Overall, this is a great budget title for the younger set, but does not provide the replay value or variety needed to hook the bigger kids or grownups.

■Good■○最初は横スクロールのアクションですが、ボス戦になると奥行きが有るステージになります。ステージも綺麗ですし、キャラクターも良く動いてます。○ステージ中のギミックが、なかなか面白い事。ステージに居るモンスター等を利用したり、自分がモンスターに乗り移り、ミッションをクリアして行く感じが斬新で面白かったです。○使用する事が出来るキャラクターが、表紙の主人公だけでは無い事。○死んでも、ローディング無しですぐリトライが出来る事。○弱、強攻撃、ワイヤーアクション、二段ジャンプ、崖に捕まる、アクション ゲームに欲しい要素は一通り入ってるので、アクション ゲームとしては合格ライン。■Bad■×特に無いのですが、強いて言うなら、ボス戦で、攻撃が当たってるのか当たって無いのか分から無い時が有る。■感想■スパイダーマン、海腹川背を無理矢理混ぜた感じのゲームです。ワイヤーアクションが、海腹川背に似てます。スイングして爽快に陸から陸へ飛び移ったりする所が、スパイダーマンらしい感じです。敵に攻撃をヒットさせる感覚がイマイチ弱い感じなので、そこだけが残念です。ローディングを気にせず快適にプレイが可能なので、アクション ゲーム好きにはオススメ出来ます。しかし、スパイダーマンや海腹川背のゲームで断念した方は、ちょっと控えた方がイイかもです。英語が分から無くても、割とサクサク進む事が出来ます。

It was ok maybe ill buy more but until then I'm very underwhelmed I would have thought it would be cheaper than that
