For the price it's a no brainier. This is a fantastic little player. The buttons are kind of a pain at first because you can't really see which is which unless they're lit up. Unfortunately the buttons don't stay lit very long, so there is ~5 minutes of trial and error; but after that it's a breeze.The build of the device is surprisingly solid. Other players I've owned in the past were pretty cheaply made, and you could tell. That being said, I can see this device being destroyed by a single drop. Additionally the screen protector it comes with left a bunch of adhesive goop from the sticker peel tabs.Bluetooth works well. Battery life is great. It supports a whole lot of audio codecs, which is beyond fantastic.I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

I bought this for audiobooks. Specifically wanted Bluetooth to avoid the dangling cord. Problem: when I turn it off, it loses the Bluetooth pairing. To get it back, I have to get onto the menu (not that easy), find Bluetooth and reconnect. By then I’ve lost my place in the audiobook. Navigating back is not easy. It takes forever and I know that next time I use it, I’ll have to go through the whole process again. Update: even the radio doesn’t work.

Probably one of the most irritating purchases I've made. Bought this for my nephew because I wanted something simple and easy for him when he goes on runs and didn't want him dropping his iPhone (again). Received the player, pulled the Music folder off his laptop and loaded it... but when I activated the music icon, it started counting and the locked up at 56/141 (like 15 seconds holding down the power button to reset). Figured out there were iTunes files and mp3s, so spent 45 minutes deleting the iTunes files and reloaded only mp3s... and the stupid thing locked up at 13/136.I'd send it back, but the packaging and such went out with the rest of everything. This is officially the biggest regret of 2017 holidays.

I was excited about the new player but it quit working within 2 months. It is possible that this was just a bad unit but I'm not going to chance it. It was not dropped or abused it just quit playing one day while I was listening. Amazon was very accommodating and allowed me to return it, hassle free. I ordered a different player and I'm waiting with anticipation.

The Newiy Start Bluetooth MP3 Player is nice. The only problem is that the manual is hard to read. I am 75 years old and my eyes aren't as good as they was 50 years ago. Other than that I am slowly getting it worked out. I think it will be good.Tom

it works and sound good I can not get the Bluetooth ear buds to work with the radio it tells me to turn off the radio it works with music

Pros: Tough, good quality, very good sound, OK controls, 2 headset ports.Cons: Cannot connect to any BT device that requires a password.

Stop working after 3 months, never knew why for sure. Contacted Seller through Amazon.They promptly sent a replacement that has been working great. The sound is great withquality earbuds that came with the unit, lots of volume. I also like the FM Radio feature.
