*This review is for the REALVOX Multi-functional Micro USB OTGI read the product description for this product before recieving it and googled what a OTG, is since I did not really understand what it did. I was also a bit confused as to how anything can plug into this when the USB is sticking out. So, I was actually amazed to see that this actually transforms from a male to a female USB by sliding 2 little handles on the side up and down. I included 2 pictures so that you could see it in "male" and "female" form. This product was tested using a Nexus 6 smart phone and a Kingpad tablet.Pros:* First off this is a beautiful and and strong tangle free cord, I usually don't like the color Gold because I think it sometimes makes an item look cheap. This is actually a really pretty color though and I would describe it as more of a bronzy gold color and very expensive looking.* The seems to be made using high quality material as well, so I see this lasting a long time. The gold part on the USB's seem to be made from a metal material and the cord is a shiny woven fabric wrapped around the actual cord.* You can use it as a regular charger just connect it to an adapter, I would have it as a spare in case your regular one breaks; however, this is only the beginning since it does so much more.* If you have an iPhone 6 or 6s or perhaps a friend has one that is dying you can convert your micro USB into a iPhone 6 charger or data cable by connecting the micro USB into the iPhone 6 connector. (Bam, now your someones hero... or your own)* I connected it by turning the female USB into a male, and connected my keyboard to the phone, and it actually worked. There was no lag and I was so amazed that I just started pushing random things to see how much I could control. I also connected it to my tablet and it worked as well as with the phone.* I connected my mouse to the phone and tablet, and I could control both. I was web surfing on the PHONE with a mouse. I was just so amazed, I think this is an awesome feature if your phone is cracked and you can't currently use the touch screen. Or if you just want to be lazy and move only your hand to use you phone :)* I connected my a generic PS2 controller to the phone and it worked, so playing games on your phone just got a whole lot cooler. Hey take it to work and play games on your break like you were back at home playing video game. I thought this feature was the most awesome since I didn't think it was possible to do that with a cord.*Your supposed to be able to connect it to a printer , I was able to connect to the printer using the female "mode" of the USB, but I couldn't print it because of a problem with my printer.Cons:* The instructions are in Chinese so those who speak any other language are out of luck.They do include little pictures but, honestly you don't need them since you just have to plug it in. If you are a "I must read the directions" kind of person this will probably annoy you.* Your supposed to be able to connect your phone to a camera; however, I could not get it to work I kept receiving a "connection error" after an initial "connecting to computer" message. I did make some kind of connection though, but I my phone or tablet wouldn't work.* Your supposed to be able to connect the cord from phone to phone, to "borrow" power or control the other phone, but I could not get it to work. It would of been a bonus if that did work though but, I don't really see a use for that unless my phone is running out of juice and I wanna bum some power off your friend, but I think that would just annoy my friends :P. It would of still been cool though.Recommend:* If you have the correct listed phone or device than Yes! I thought this was a really awesome item to have,a sort of Swiss army knife of data cords. It really is a must have for everyday and emergency situations. I see it replacing several wires most people have in their bags for this one " do it all" cord. I plan on buying one soon for my sister,who is one of those people who "pull bundles of cords out of there bag" kind of person. Even with all those cords this cord still does somethings that all those cords put together can not!* Note if you have phone that is not listed it might not work as anything other than a charge (why do I say this? Because I have a LG Risio and it doesn't work with that one, I have several old phones I use with my WIFI like mini tablets :P)*So this would make a great gift for that person who "has it all".* I struggled with a 4 and 5 star review, I was gonna go with a 4 because it didn't do all the listed stuff, but I still does a lot, I love it ( what 5 star means) and I can't really see myself using regular cords now when I can just have this one, so that is why I choose 5 stars.
