This is an excellent product. Easy to put on, stays cold and is an excellent quality. Would suggest having a sock underneath when using as it is pretty cold to use directly against the skin. Really helps post op swelling and pain-Highly recommend

This provides full coverage for the ankle and foot area with a soft inside that makes it easy to wear as the icy part does not stick or come in contact with skin. The only issue is it is rather bulky and heavy. It is for my daughter with a ligament issue and she really can't move too much with it on. It works great for recovery after an activity as long as she is willing to stay in one place for long so she can have her foot just resting in it but any movement is a little harder to do. Maybe that is good - heavy to move so you are forced to rest?

I had broke my fibula in a couple places right above the ankle, bought 3 ice pack/gel packs before finding this one. It will fit anyone under size 12 men’s or women. I’m size 11.5 and it fits like a glove but the long Velcro will allow it to fit perfect for any size smaller,Pro: fully covers ankle and foot leaving toes exposed and goes about 6”-8” up the shin. Freezing cold first 30-60 minutes. It stays cool for about 2 hours. Super easy install by myself. Good Velcro straps that stay attached and allow for compression if wanted. Flexible and comfortable around the injured areaCon: slightly bulky and heavier than you would like I recommend having a pillow or leg prop under you to help support the weight of the ice pack, takes 4-6 hours of deep freeze to get the best results. It works better for left foot/ankle than the right one unless you turn it inside out. Still works great for right ankle but just works better for left.Just buy it and you will be happy

I was using 2 icepacks: one for my ankle and one for a problem tendon, which was a pain. This product has made icing so much easier! It is fairly easy to use once you use it once or twice. I have arthritis in my thumbs and the velcro straps are easy to manage and to pull. I have put it on sitting on the bed with my leg extended and in a chair (don't use one with wheels!). Both ways worked for me. The lavender color is also soothing to look at. You can reverse the icepack and depending on the leg you are using it on, you either have to use the cushy side, or the plastic side to get the maximum ice on the area you want due to the distribution of the ice. This means that when you use the plastic side, it's important to wear a sock. Another alternative would be to use a pillowcase if it's hard for you to put on socks ( learned this in PT!) With the cushy fabric side, a sock is not necessary. The material is sturdy and well constructed, and as others have mentioned, there is a plastic ziplock bag that it comes in that keeps it clean in the freezer.

I have never been so impressed with the quality and how adaptable for my small Foot this was after ankle surgery. It has been so helpful and promoting my healing and package so nicely. I love the extra Ziploc bag for the freezer and how nice and snug it fits it covers every Bit of my foot. So thankful to have such a wonderful product.

It is a nice and soft wrap, but it won’t keep cold for a long time. I would estimate up to 20-30min max. But it sneed to be kept for least 2 hours in freezer to cool down. So maybe buy more. Additionally it won’t wrap your toes, it is kind of small around medium foot. I would probably return it. I’ve used it three times. Not enough for treatment after bunion surgery.

These ice pack booties are pretty amazing. I have recently developed planters faciitis along with life long arthritis. They do help with the pain and swelling. I do not expect them to get rid of the pain completely, that isn't realistic., but they do provide some relief. The inside lining is super soft, like faux fur and the seems are well covered so there is nothing digging into sensitive skin. The soft lining also prevents shock and damage to the skin from the ice which is not too cold and does not get warm too fast. The velcro straps are also made very well. They are long enough to accommodate bigger feet/legs with a strong hold that is not so strong it is a struggle to get them off. I was planning on putting them in ziploc bags in the freezer for sanitary purposes, so it was a pleasant surprise to find they came with ziplocs specifically for use while freezing. They also help keep the fabric frost free and dry. Overall I am impressed. Very well made, good quality ice booties. I have even walked a little on them with no worries of them splitting and I am slightly above "average" build for a woman. I was concerned that the price was a bit high, but it is not. Totally worth it and can be paid for with HSA funds.

I have purchased several different ankle ice wraps in the past with mixed success. These wraps tended to be composed of several plastic compartments filled with gel beads, with limited ability to cover the ankle/tendon areas effectively. Over time, the plastic would break down, and the beads would leak out.Although the REVIX ankle ice pack wrap is more expensive, it is clearly worth the extra cost vs. the cheaper models. The wrap fits like a boot; it feels comfortable, durable and effective; it stays colder for longer periods of time; and the gel packs can be easily shaped to fit snuggly around all areas of my foot, in-step, ankle and achilles tendon. So far, so good!
