Shorts would either not stay in place (around my waist), the legs would ride up and chafe, or they would just just plain not fit. But not these! They actually fit and are very comfortable!If you're looking for drawstring compression shorts and have larger thighs/squat booty - this is probably your best bet. Lululemon also sells compression shorts with drawstrings, but in my experience you'll have to go up a ton of sizes in their shorts for them to fit in the legs (at which point they won't fit in the waist...).The only downside of these shorts is that the drawstring isn't attached at all and I've almost lost it on numerous occasions. Overall my initial thought is its an ok shorts for the price. I am 5ft 5 and a size 10/12 with large thighs. I think for a compression shorts the large was a bit loose for me.
