good quality and attractive appearance
I recently moved into a home with plaster walls and was concerned about cracking the walls while hanging nails. After some research I realized that the molding around our rooms was actually picture hanging rails! (The 1/4 inch from the ceiling should have given it away, but we had never seen picture rails before so we just thought they were oddly installed moldings.) I went back and forth about the expense of the hanging sets with the zipper hooks, but I am glad I bought them. We now have about 10 different things installed using this system. They are VERY easy to use and just as easy to move around. I even have more than one piece of art hanging from some of the cords with no problem. I added small felt pads to the bottom corner of each piece to keep them from going crooked. The only complaint I have is that small or lighter pieces don't lay very nicely against the wall but someone gave me the tip of adding small 3M command strips behind those pieces to help display them the way that I envisioned.

Pro system for hanging art
The advantages are that you aren’t putting holes in the walls. Also you can rearrange artwork easily going higher or lower, or to a different place without any wall damage. The disadvantage is you need the moulding to hang from. Many older homes have these throughout house. Mine did, but I had new ones installed in an outbuilding.

Easy to use, will buy more!
I bought the four pack of these because I wanted to see if it was actually easier to hang pictures with these than with the traditional moulding hooks and picture wire. Well, the answer is a resounding "Yes!". No need to measure and cut wire (and then re-cut it if you get things wrong). The Perlon cord does indeed disappear once the pictures are hung, and it's very easy to readjust things should you wish to raise or lower your pictures once they're up. Will definitely buy more, since I have many more pictures I want to hang. Great product! Wish I'd know about it years ago.

Easy to set up and very sturdy.
These picture frame hangars are great! I have very strong picture frame moulding all around my old house and using these is much better than trying to find studs in plaster walls and the subsequent process of putting nails through plaster. These hooks are also easy to adjust and move around when you want to move pictures around your home. The perlon cord is strong and leave no doubt that they'll support the weight of the picture you're hanging.

Wow - Secure and Looks good
A step up, way up, from the box store "S" moulding hooks. Recently had two paintings actually fall off the walls after years for no particular reason (global warming?). These moulding hooks and cord with zipper hooks are very secure and very easy to mount. Height adjustments after hanging is also very easy. Planning to buy more and replace all the old S hooks. They are worth the price.

Easy, convenient, flexible, but not perfect
It's great to have such a simple way to hang pictures from existing moulding without needing to put any nails in the walls. Move or remove it just as easily. Holds securely without damaging the moulding or the wall. You can hang multiple frames from the same line, and adjust the number and height of the hooks any time. Works perfectly for my 8.5x11 stuff.However... For my larger (28w x 22.5h) painting, I had to tape the line to the wall to keep the frame from pulling away, leaving the painting hanging at a steep downward angle. I had to use a lot of heavy duty tape, too. Basically, the weight of the frame pulls the line forward, away from the wall. So the bottom of the frame is against the wall while the top is several inches forward.Another reason to use tape (which will be hidden behind the picture you're hanging) is that the line is otherwise free to swing back and forth (if you nudge the frame, for example).

Great product! Excellent quality and very functional
This was a great investment! I can’t put holes in the walls where I rent and they have a picture rail that I previously thought was decorative but it’s super functional! I have a hanging mirror that is 30 lbs and I use two for it and it works great. Another mirror I have is about 100 lbs and is sitting on top of a dresser so I put two us as an earthquake precaution to keep the mirror from slipping. My only comment is that the Zipr is really great for hanging but then it creates a space between the mirror and wall so it tilts forward. I corrected this by using 3M Velcro stickies to keep the Zipr against the wall.

Yes do it and buy more for later.
These are amazing!! Yes get them! Super easy to use. Just to be clear, these are for use with old school picture hanging crown molding in plaster walled homes. I don't know how long these have been around but it made picture hanging so much easier! Thank you to whoever invented these. They rock!!! I didn't get paid to say all these things, fyi.

Great thing
Needed to hang 4 pictures in a 2 x 2 shape from picture rail. This was just the job! Bit fiddly but great outcome.
