I wanted a spreader I could pull with my workhorse golf cart, after checking all of them out and not wanting to spend $800 I opted for this one. It assembled in about an hour , just be patient and follow directions. After reading reviews from most of the sellers I knew I was in for some fabrication. Lucky me I had an old orange limb saw pole that I kept for just such n issue. Like most I could not reach the stop lever from my seat, I removed the adjustment lever and cut off the handle portion and straightened it with a small sledge hammer. I reassembled the adjustment lever and spring which I will worn you is tricky, and you can see in the pick how I attached the orange handle. I will update my review after my initial use. I gave it a rating of 4 because there was no grease at all on the gears, so make sure you remove the plastic covers and lube it up. Seems like a sturdy spreader will let you know soon.

Some areas of assembly were poorly presented in the instructions resulting in many “do-overs”, but I eventually got it together. I put in about 15 pounds of Fertalizer in it just to test it out. It worked nicely so l put the rest of the 40 pound bag into the hopper. It immediately stopped working. The wheel turned the shaft, but the distributor did not turn at all. I took apart the gear box and the retaining pin was not properly seated All I had to do was seat the pen, reassemble this gear box and all was well. The problem is that the instructions never mentioned the need to do this before use, only during servicing the spreader. Otherwise, I think this will prove to be the best spreader I have ever known.

I specifically bought this product because it has a lower center of gravity than other spreaders and I am glad I did. It doesn't not tip over with heavy loads when I go over bumps

You just have to take your time putting it togetherOther than that it’s a great spreader

Haven't used it yet but looks like it will be easy to use.

Big improvement over the push spreader. Can put up to 3 bags in (limit 300 pounds) pulled it around my two big lawns. Spread in 30 minutes instead of hours. Spread nicely. Am going to have to put a handle extension on it. My tractor is bigger than most and Higher. I m happy.
