The story was cute and funny as well I would recommend reading this book. Even my daughter enjoyed it as well

My learning-to-read granddaughters read this book aloud and really loved it. There were enough easy words to make them feel competent and there were plenty of larger words to give them a challenge. But best of all, they loved the story. Each time they visit, they want to read the story again. The artwork enhances the story and is laugh at loud funny. I highly recommend this book.

Do you like to be silly? Do you like to laugh?The author, Judy Cox, has written such a fun book. Miss Millie us one of those teachers that would make a classroom fun. I did wonder, however, if this kind of talk would be tiresome after awhile. Though we know this is not real life. Miss Millie intersperses funny words for what she means. The children have heard it so often, they know what she is saying or meaning. When you read this book, you can make your decision about the funny words.Adults will enjoy reading this book to their children. The children will laugh at all the funny words, and can make up tbeirvown funny words to go with their speech. The illustrations by Joe Matthieu are colorful, vivid and colorful. Our librarian came in and read it to the first grade class and I had to buy a copy! They thought it was hilarious and had great fun guessing what Mrs. Millie was actually trying to say. The pictures are adorable as well. Love this book!

I bought this book for my daughter. She is studying to be an elementary school teacher. She read it to the first grader's that she's working with and they loved it and thought it super funny

It is fun to have the kids guess what Mrs. Millie means with her silly words before reading the rest of the page to the class. Works great for pre-schoolers and kindergarteners.

I thought I had ordered this book and paid the “brand new” price. As you can see from the photos, the back corner of the cover is torn. Sadly, this book will not be gift-able.Would definitely appreciate a brand new book to be sent. If so, I will gladly update my review. Thanks for your kind attention.

A great book for children to read/be read to with plenty of rhyming text. Lots of laugh-out loud text which made me and my daughter giggle for ages and kept reciting to each other. So good that we have recommended it to our school as it's very easy to relate to. If you've got children in school/nursery then it really is a must-read book as it will have you laughing all the way to the school gate! Very funny.

This is a good book with lots of rhyme for you to look. The text and pictures are very bright and clear and children will love putting on the right rhyme. It is a fun story and the children I work with love it. This is a good addition to any book case.
