Ordered the Road/gravel Conversion kit. arrived with the complete set. 1x 120ml bag of sealant, 1x 21mm width roll holeshot rim tape, 2x 60mm Mk2 Peaty's valves, 4x strips of finishing stickers for the end of the rim tape.

I'm not satisfied with the adhesion of the tape: it peels off on overlapping layers and at the edges near the bead. I had to retape my rear rim three times because the Pirelli Pzero Race tire (definitely not the tightest one) pulls the tape off when popping onto the rim. The valves and sealant, however, are working fine.

Like the idea of tubeless tyres particularly the puncture resistance aspect and this kit is well made with good instructions, everything you need in fact. Only issues are the extraordinarily long valve stem of about 60mm! But more worrying, the instruction that the tyre should not be inflated above 40psi when tubeless, rather defeats the objective when sports tyres routinely advise very high pressures, often 100+, so new tyres required to make full use of this technology? On first look they are very expensive, £70/80 each from most of the mainstream manufacturers, however, there are more sensibly priced alternatives if you look, I am buying from WTB though new to me, they seem well specified on the specialist selling sites like Wiggle. So full test pending but there should be no serious problems.

I like Peaty's products and this has decent sealant and good tape. For me this was let down by the valves which - on my Hunt rims - pulled in too far, even hand tight, so never sealed properly.

An easy enough kit to use that is supplied in a very attractive retail package that is free of plastic and coloured ink so looks to be easily recyclable. The kit is easy enough to fit although you do need to supply your own degreasing fluid (important to have this otherwise you may have issues with tape not sealing) the tape supplied is long enough to do 4 rims (only two valves supplied though) so if you make a mistake first time your covered. For anyone thinking about converting this is a great option

This kit comes in eco-friendly packaging and contains everything required to convert from tyres with inner tubes to tubeless tyres (except a degreaser and pump). The aluminium valves are excellent quality, though the cores are at risk of bending. (My son bent one and had to replace it.) The sealant is highly effective and seals punctures within moments of being spun around the tyre. All in all, this kit is superb and very good value.
