What I loved is that it came in a short 16 inch bar. I didn’t want a humongous bar just something to hold while I was walking on my treadmill or at least to be ready to hold if need be. I have a very compact treadmill only 22 inches wide and sometimes when I’m watching videos, walking through the park, my body tends to wanna move a little too far so in order to stay in a straight line, and to remain safe, this was the perfect solution! It was super easy to install. I am very arthritic and 63 years old but with my trustee drill and my drillbit, I was able to install it within five minutes walking on the treadmill now I know that I have a grab bar and I’m gonna be safe. The price was very good too and it looks nice.

Just the length I needed. I painted the black metal the color of my wall. Comes with heavy duty mounting hardware. I needed up buying a second one for a second location.

Easy to install and very sturdy

I installed this at my mother's house so she had something strong and sturdy to grab on her stairs that was a little more ergonomic than what is there. I did have to get different hardware for our installation, the screws were too long for the end, but if you go into the wall they would work perfectly. The edges are flush from the metal to the wood. There is a screw on the back that connects the wood and metal so you could remove it if you ever had to refinish the wood. I would recommend it for vertical, horizontal or any angle for a few steps as a great way to add safety in your home.

This handrail is well built and very nice looking. I installed mine with attached screws into a wood stud and it’s not going anywhere.

I liked the ease of the installing of it, nice and strong screws in lath&plaster wall for my wife who has just had her right hip replaced. I had a long wall Bannister but needed a short one at the top of the stairs and this is just perfect and it also looks quite smart as though it has always been there, my wife is very happy with it thank you.
