Perfect choice for short term use
Lycamobile has always been my preferred choice for traveltime needs. For short term travel, it comes with first month unlimited plan at such a lower price. Unlimited international call limit gives an added preference. Service is quick and activation is a very very simple process without any documentation hassle. Took hardly a minute to submit activation request and they were prompt to activate it on my intended date which was immediate next day.

Er, awesome. Took 2 mins to set up. Guy on the other end was responsive to text message within 2 mins. He even checked that could make and receive calls. Verizon could learn a thing or two from this small company. Good work chaps. You're the flying aces in WWI.

Travsim is not able to be activated instantly
I had to travel and ordered this for quick delivery.The letter accompanying the SIM states it has to be "activated" by going to travsim website and it recommended a "2-3 day wait before requesting to activate" . It would not give me an option to activate instantly thus making it useless. Do not buy at last minute.

Buy from this company. I've had issues before with other companies selling Lycamobile Sim cards but never with this company. Perfect product, clear directions and they even give you a little key pin to open the Sim tray. A+

Useless for Alaska / no customer support
Completely useless during my trip to Alaska. T-Mobile (the carrier this card uses) has an agreement with GCI so the card should work, but I could only register on the 3G network which gave me NO data and only local calls. This created a TON of issues during my vacation as Canadian phones don't work at all in the US. Customer service was non-existent (no local number and when I hooked up to WiFi at the visitor center the Lyca page gave me useless or incorrect information). I tried all the APNs and settings and had no luck. What a total waste of time and money.
