KD-001-O 3 1/2" Drop-In Kitchen/Bar Sink Basket Strainer, Stainless Steel Oil Rubbed Bronze

I bought two of these for my new granite sinks. They hooked up nicely, look good, the quality appears to be very good, but there is one major problem: there is no notch in the shaft under the basket,so that the basket does not sit in a way that water is not held and still strain the food particles and residue. It has to sit askew, and that allows some particles to go down the drain that I would rather be caught by the basket. There is no way to fix this that I can see, other than getting a different basket, and the dark color is hard to find at a reasonable price. It holds water nicely when you want to fill the sink. So, I would give this product a four for quality, a 5 for looks,but I would give it only a 2 for the fact that you cannot strain food properly from the water going down the drain.

Plumbers could not install the threads are so shallow that they could not tighten the drain without it jumping a thread.Maybe I got a bad lot, unfortunately past the return window.

i only want the plug didn't need the entire assembly. the plug keeps coming apart.

Bought 2 of these for the new kitchen sink. Looked nice at first especially for the price. After 6 months the oil rubbed bronze color is starting to rub off. Pretty soon they will look black. Spend the extra money for nicer ones.

I bought this sink strainer because the ones I bought at Lowe’s had their painted on finish peel off after a month or so. The finish is still on this one. Unfortunately you have to position this strainer just right for the sink to drain and catch the debris.

New build installed. Haven't even closed and it has already started changing colors. Cheaply made and another will have to be puchased to replace this one.

Not trilled, very cheap already coming apart and color coming off.

We have had this for 3 months and the finish is already coming off. Horrible product and will not be easy to replace. Never again will I buy from this company.
