This part was a correct fit for my 2008 VW Beetle. It cleared a recurring check engine indicator.

It fits and works perfectly.

The part is made of a poor thermoplastic (if thermoplastic at all). It worked fine initially, but after 6 months apparently the constant heat/cold cycle caused it to become soft and literally just fell off, causing some pretty interesting misfire codes (all cylinders)

2015 VW jetta 1.8T owner. OEM PCV diaphragm failed at 66,500 miles and was barely cracked. Cause some slight oil burn 1q every 5,000 miles or so.Bought this one and replaced, and this one catastrophically failed at 77,500 miles. Burned so much oil (almost 1q in 500 miles) that it fouled a new set of iridium spark plugs which caused misfiring on multiple cylinders. Stay away from this one/others made in China and buy an upgraded one from ECS tuning/FCP euro/another specialty european shop or buy a whole new OEM oil separator assembly (I ended up going with OEM assembly). Only giving it a 2nd star because it fit as advertised and worked fine for the 10k miles before it failed.

It is a quality part

Exact replacement at a great price.Be sure to CHECK THE ORIENTATION of the original ( the LINE on the top) because there is no easy or non-destructive way to remove it again. These are meant to be single use anyway.

The plastic cover does not fit on my Audi A4. Had to swap out the rubber rings and use the old cover instead
