Works perfectly. Very good buy.

Adjusting it to cycle correctly
Unmatched output, don’t get me started with how quiet it is considering the ungodly amount it puts out. Adjust and Get its cycle right and this will blow you away with the performance and sound it doesn’t make!

Pump it up!!
This has revolutionized my remote bathroom situation. Bathing, flushing, washing it's all the pressure and capacity a girl could want. Just hook it up and feel the flow.

Customer service is horrible.
The pump itself is fine; but customer support is horrible!!! My pump arrived with no directions/manual. I called and left 2 voicemails, sent a text (including my phone number and email address.) The response was that they would email me. I finally was able to print one off the web. I had watched the recommended YouTubes on how to adjust the pressure and bypass prior to ordering; but my pump was different than demonstrated. It seems to be working fine; but no customer service response after 2 weeks.

Quiet!
Seems to work well and is much quieter than the Shurflo it replaced. I needed to purchase two 1/2” FPT to 1/2” barbed connections to securely attach my hoses to the pump

No more surging and on off cycling!
Excellent pump. Doesn’t surge like crazy like the other brands. Will be buying a bunch more looking for bulk pricing!

The Seaflo 55 Series 115 VAC Pump is Not CONTINUOUS DUTY at High Pressures
Update of July 3 2026 : Only after adding a heat sink, a fan and an air channel, can this pump really become CONTINUOUS DUTY at higher pressures (Ex. 40 PSI, 3 GPM). Seaflo advertizes this pump as a continuous duty and this has caused me a lot of problems. The Seaflo engineering department confirmed that this pump is not really continuous duty at 40 PSI. If you have a sprinkler application, you may have to build a custom setup using a heat sink, a fan and an air channel. Heat sinks that fits this fan are Steelgreen Mfg S54120 and Shurflo 34-007. The fan can be connected to the pressure switch so that it will only run when the pump runs. Note that competitors like Shurflo which makes identical pumps recommend to add a heat sink and fan to make their pump CONTINUOUS DUTY. Initial Comment : I bought a Seaflo Series 55 115 VAC pump through Amazon.ca on April 12 2026 and I tried to install it on May 28 2026. The pump overheats after only 20 minutes of normal use and has never been in service so far. I am a very technically inclined person being a mechanical engineer and worked in engineering most of my career. I just tried finishing installing this pump on april 28 2026 and I am definitely getting overheating problems after only 20 minutes of normal use. This pump has never been in service so far. The ambient air temperature is 90 F and the pump is not being exposed to the sun directly or any sources of heat. The water being pumped is at 50 F. The pump is supplying one impact sprinkler and the working pressure at the pump is 45 PSI and the measured flow rate is 3 gallons per minutes (GPM). The measured voltage at the pump while the pump is working hard at the mentioned pressure and flowrate is 115 VAC. I made sure the pump had no air pockets and fully primed. I checked the voltage while the pump was pumping hard at 45 PSI and 3 GPM and the voltage was measured at 115 VAC. I also measured the pump outlet pressure and flow rate which were 45 PSI and 3 GPM. The pump runs for 20 minutes and then stops (Cools) for 10 minutes and restarts again for another 20 minutes. The motor casing temperature is 200 F when the overheat temperature switch kicks in. This seems to be a defective pump since it is rated for continuous duty. The pump manual and Amazon.ca list this pump as continuous duty. I need a pump that can run sprinklers and drip tapes for several hours daily. What should I do to solve this problem? Should I return this pump? Please contact me ASAP.
