Great phone and value, but definitely not perfect
Great phone that runs fast and reliably... For a bit...I'm not sure if this is something that's my fault or what, but in the last month or two, the phone went from rivaling fairly high end phones, to lagging and game or app that is of decent quality. Not to mention it's painfully low memory and storage, though somehow it never gave me an issue before when I would play pretty processor intensive games (like 3d naval warfare with each individual cannonball and smoke trail, and flag creases rendered, realistic lighting and shadows, ship wakes affecting small boats, slight cannonball innacuracy, ships leaning based on wind direction, even the ability to pause the game, and move the camera around alone to take crazy screenshots)The $20 Alcatel One Touch Ideal i bought at Walmart a 2 years ago outperformed this in every way(until it got a virus and barely runs anymore). I only got this because it has a slightly better camera, and has the built in flashlight (Im also having difficulty rooting this one, while the other one I successfully did while having zero knowledge of rooting). The camera isn't really anything to brag about still, though it's still decent enough for most general pictures so long as you dont zoom in.Despite all that, it is in fact worth the money.(Note: I looked up the Alcatel One Touch Ideal on Amazon and it's being sold for $60 here for some reason)

edited this as I fixed the sound issues
I am somewhat disappointed in this phone. It comes with no instructions at all. I had to go on line and ask around to find out how to fix issues I had with the ringer not working. Apparently it has a function where it turns off the ringer if left face down for a long period. Once I got that figured out, it works o.k.

00 it's a great deal. It's not anywhere near a note 5 ...
This was delivered free in less than 24 hours. My Samsung Note 5 was destroyed and I still had a few months left making payments so I needed a quick, cheap replacement. This worked with T-Mobile, right out of the box. Just dropped in my SIM card. For 54.00 it's a great deal. It's not anywhere near a note 5 quality for an extra 20 bucks you can pick up a 64GB micro sd card and it works fine. Bluetooth is great. Picture and resolution aren't good at all but I didn't get the phone to watch movies. The quad processor is still strong enough to stream just fine and you can still cast without any problems or lag.Two things that stand out about this phone.1. It has the same version of Android 7.0 as my Note which is the most current you'll get for a smartphone anywhere near this price range.2. You can remove the battery. I ordered a second battery that I can charge and bring along like I used to before they started making phones without the option popping off the back. It's a good battery that holds a charge and charges quickly. In summary. This is not as good as my $800.00 phone. Nowhere near as nice. However, it does have a quad-core processor and 1gb RAM and with a micro SD upgrade, it's still about $75 cheaper than any other unlocked smartphone with the same specs and android 7.0. It's a great placeholder until you're ready to drop another $800.00 for the next phone or a decent starter for the kiddos.

It's not the worst, but it's not great.
I waited a while to write this review because I wanted to have some time with it. That said, I am not overly impressed. Like many other people, mine is very slow and loaded with garbage programs that can't be uninstalled, meaning that you NEED to buy an SD card if you want to do anything other than calling and/or texting. It sounds like I was lucky, because mine was unlocked, making the fact that it's loaded with a bunch of AT&T crap even more irritating (I use Tracfone). It's good for simple calling and texting, but any "smart" functions don't work on mine- I have to be connected to wifi, even though I bought a data plan. But that might not be a problem with the phone, that might be a problem with my carrier. The normal camera is very, very grainy if you are in anything less than full light, and the selfie cam looks like crap no matter what. I haven't had the overheating problem, but I also don't use mine for much other than texting.TL; DR: if you want something that is *just* for calling and texting, this is phone is sufficient. If you want to take pictures or install apps... or anything that requires space... you're better off looking elsewhere.

Good phone for the price
Bought it for my son. It's very light and feels well built. Screen is large and the phone is fast. What I don't like is that it has its main memory already full with many apps and there's little to non space for new apps. I bought an external SC card, maxed to 32GB only to learn that I couldn't move any of the apps already loaded. Has been a pain to add more apps to the phone!
