Have to 12 year old grandson for Christmas. He loves racing the cars. Now he wants more track and cars!

The Carrera go is fun to use. Pretty easy to assemble. Got it to play with the grandkids. The 4 year old did ok with it the first time. There is one turn on the track that the cars will fly off if you don’t slow down. Don’t know about durability yet but so far so good.

Bought this for my nephew for Christmas - he has been so excited about it and plays with it all the time. This set is very high quality and the cars are quite large (compared to the set I had as a child). I expect this to last a long time and provide hours of entertainment from it. Would highly recommend.

So far this was the perfect gift for my 5 - 1/2 y-o grandson. Was a bit concerned that he would have difficulty keeping the cars on the track but in a very short time he mastered the controller. The 'speed limiter' clips on the controls helped. He found the 'turbo boost' button by himself and was able to master that quicker than I did. The three banked turns are really helpful for a beginner to be able to drive fast without the car coming off at every turn. This set, with the crossover and the squeeze section, provides a great level of entertainment for the beginner with just the right amount of possible crashes while still rewarding good car control. I'm glad I didn't buy the set with the loop after reading the reviews.I gave just 4/5 stars for durability simply because it hasn't been in use long enough for any better appraisal, but judging by the quality of everything I'm hoping it holds up over the long term.Assembly was straightforward, though it definitely requires an adult to properly snap the pieces of track together.
