Galaxy Note 8 Case [Tridea] Power Guard Premium Synthetic Leather Bumper [Shock Resistant][Scratch-Resistant] Case for Samsung Galaxy Note8 (2017) [Brown]

This is a nice case. It fits my note 8 very well. All the cutouts line up perfectly and all of the buttons are easy to press and responsive. This case is not too thick or too thin. Seems to provide a decent amount of protection on the backside. Can't say the same about the front because of the curved screen. But that is to be expected with any slimmer cases. Overall I'm very happy with this case. Only time will tell how this case will hold up with normal wear and tear. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it was obvious the case was bent or stepped on during delivery. There is a noticable crease at the top on the back leather. I would ask for a replacement, but it's not that bad so not a deal breaker.

First of all, this is a surprisingly good-looking case (see attached pic). It also fits the Galaxy Note 8 very nicely...on a par with my Spigen 'daily driver' case. All the openings line up properly, and the various buttons are in perfect alignment with their counterparts on the actual phone. SO...WHY ONLY 3 STARS?If you look at the 2 pics of the bottom of the case, you'll see (arrows) that there are very small...but, still...rough edges around all openings...extending out and down (i.e., against fingers/hand holding the case). This causes irritation and some damage (blisters, etc.) to any part of the finger constantly rubbing against these edges (see pic)Cases by Spigen, Ringke, Caseology, etc. have smooth, beveled edges around the openings in their cases specifically to prevent this.If Tridea had taken one tiny extra step of quality assurance, and trimmed the edges smooth, I would have given this case 5 stars. As it is, I use it when I am in meetings (like I said, it looks GOOD)...but, I can't use it as my every day case. Too bad.

Love this case! I had the same one for my Note 5 for several years and it held up really well. I got a lot of complements on it looking like 'real leather'. This new one has the familiar rubberized black sides and interior which are easy to keep a grip on, rubber button covers that help the buttons remain easy to find and activate. The sides don't cover the screen edge but the case extends on the top and bottom so that if you lie it face down on a flat surface, the screen is not touching (although very close).It is a thin case, but for its size seems to offer very good protection.

I'm rather impressed with this case. The "leather" look is quite nice without a repeating grain design.It is very slim, yet offers screen protection by way of the top and bottom edges being raised VERY slightly.The fit is absolutely perfect. All cutouts and buttons line up and function well.Time will tell if the faux leather holds up or fades.

This case does add thickness to the phone overall but offers good protection for the phone. Buttons are responsive, cut outs at the bottom allows easy access for the cable charger and to the stylus, wireless charger friendly, works with tempered glass screen protector so long as it's not a curve one that extend to the side. There are raised bezels on top and bottom to allow the phone to be face down without having the screen touching the surface. Looks great. If you are using magnetic dashboard this thick case does make it less magnetize, fixed with additional magnetic plate though. Overall, very good case.

It's pretty stylish has been a sweet case may go to 1 everyday it's awesome with screen protectors if you want to have a screen protector glass screen protector this one is going to work great with that

When arrived, this case felt and looked awesome. 3 months later, all 4 corners are worn out, showing black rubber underneath it. It worked with the wireless charging but it did not last long.

This wasna gift but did not match the description and came with a large pocket on the outside of the back. I tried to return but it was refused because of the time period allowed.
