I like to buy dry beta carotene and dry vitamin A as they are more easily assimilated into the bloodstream than the capsules (especially for people with digestive issues). This is one of the few dry beta carotenes on the market, and by far the best priced one I have found. It works great for my night vision issues as well as my acne, and for those two reasons I would likely buy this at 3-4 times the price, but am thankful it remains a very economical way to get dry beta carotene!

At first, I thought this was a different product than what is advertised. My bottle said 15,000 mcg. This product is advertised as 25,000 IU. Well I should have known this as a nurse, but I’m also not used to converting IU’s to mcg because most meds now are not listed in IU’s any more. So, for those interested: 25,000 IU’s are the same as 15,000 mcg.So far, I really like this product. I can’t use beta carotene softgels because i get a rash everywhere. I haven’t had that problem with these dry capsules. Very happy!

Love the size and ease to take!

I purchased in store at Whole Foods. Opened the brand new bottle and found this. Black & White speckled capsules. In my experience this usually means it’s going rancid. But this doesn’t expire for over 2 years. So I’m not sure if this is safe to take. I reached out to Whole Foods and they weren’t able to answer my question, which I found to be a little unnerving. Shouldn’t they have a list of what each supplement is supposed to look like? If it’s supposed to be a white capsule, I would know these are NOT OK. If it’s supposed to be speckled, I would feel ok taking them. Because the manufacturer couldn’t answer that simple question, it worries me. What a waste!

Good dry vitamin but does carry the vitamin b scent.

Easy to swallow. Saw very quick visible effects. Cost was great and a generous quantity.
