Here is my honest thoughts about this.Layout: The the Dominator's button location is a little bit of a weird position and kind of hard to use and how you have to press it. For me and my hands at least and I've been told i have large hands. But i highly recommend getting the eliminator instead just for the simple fact that the buttons are in a rather natural hand/finger placements. Easiest way to map the paddles/buttons is to hook it up to your laptop/computer and do it from there. Pretty simple once you get the hang of it. Paddles do feel kind of cheapish but i didn't expect something high grade. But comparing to buying a $200 elite series 2 controller that has its own flaws (Stick drift, Buttons sticking, etc) This is a wonderful cheaper alternative and in my opinion it works just as well. but again i would go with the eliminator and not dominator.Mods: Yes they work and they work as intended. I know a lot of people "Say" they don't use them but lets be honest. But you really need to pay attention how to navigate through it. I've seen where people say they don't work but really its something you have to understand and take time learning how to modify and reading the instructions given to you because it will explain. Its not something you just hook up and go (it can be once you set it up the way you like it.). If the strike pack is NOT turning on like how the instructions state, just unplug/re-plug the power cord from the controller and retry. I have to do this each time at first start up.Over all I love it and have been using it going on a month now and i haven't had no problems with it.UPDATE 5/2/2024: Strike pack is still feeling solid with no complaints.

The new generation Strike Pack is horrible. If your serious about using the Strike Pack. Than you should go get the older model that works flawlessly. But you need the older model Xbox remote in order for it to work. These new Strike Pads are very bad quality. For instance if u want recoil reduction, the older model works fantastic. But the newer model only lets you adjust the recoil reduction when hip firing, the new strike pack will not let you adjust recoil reduction while ADS. Which is the only reason I bought this hunk of junk. I had to return bc it's pointless now.
