I picked this cat tree based on the height and value. The color is dark gray but it has a light blue tint which is better. The material is nice and soft to the touch. I didn't take into consideration the lower design of how the cats would get up the tree. The lower portion is not the best design. They skip over it by hopping up from the floor. At first Introduction the cats didn't seem interested, but they now use it all of the time. The black and white cat likes the house as does the tabby cat. They get irritated when it's already occupied. Assembly was easy. It's best to use the Allen wrench to pilot the holes around the material, and then insert the screw. I did have to torque them down pretty tight to keep the tower from shaking. It still shakes a little, but the cats are no longer startled by it. They use the string toy as well. The thickness of the mdf board appears to be about 5/8".The round nest at the top could be a little larger, and it needs to have two houses instead of one. The cat curls up pretty tight to sleep on it. I'm a truckdriver by trade and a part time truck mechanic for a reviewer aptitude reference.

It was easy to put together. Some of the holes didn't match up the best on the material with the screw locations, but i was able to stretch it to where it needed to be. The little dangling balls did not last very long with my very active kitten, but that was to be expexted. Seems sturdy enough. I wish there was more material on the bottom of the base or rubber feet, beause I am concerned the crews may scratch my floor. I put the tree on a rug to prevent that.

I bought this in January, 7 months ago, for my two 6-month-old kittens.Pros: The tower is easy to put together even with one person, and it's actually very soft compared to most other tower materials. The cats love it! It's a great size for an apartment, fits right in front of the window so that the cats can people watch from the top platforms. Despite being soft and furry, it's stayed relatively clean with just a few vacuums.Cons: It was a great size for my little cats... until they grew up, lol. Now, the platforms are too small for my boy cat to use, although my girl cat scrunches herself up juuuust enough to manage. The longer box also gets some use, but they're about to outgrow that, too. It also started sturdy but very soon lost that -- I am always re-tightening the three platforms because otherwise they'd tip over. Even now, I'm looking over and one is the leaning tower of Pisa.This is a nice, cheap, satisfactory cat tower if your cats are small and you aren't looking for something that will last through their rambunctious antics. I am unfortunately already in the market for a sturdier, bigger version, but my cats do still love it dearly and that's the most important thing. Just tonight, my boy, despite no longer fitting on it, managed to wedge himself in between the pillars and rest his chin on one of the platforms and took a nap like that. Nerd.

This was so easy to put together and is used ever day by the cats that I wish i bought one sooner. They live on the top pedestal and enjoy surveying their kingdom (both outside the window and with us mere humans). One of our cats essentially lives in the top roost and we can find her there anytime we go looking.Only con: Don't over tighten the screws as the the plastic threads in the base can strip on the metal screws and then the uprights have more movement than is desired. I did it on one vertical and it moves more then the cats like but they still have the other verticals to enjoy and they do.

Shipped on a short delay I put together ( I'm a girl) we were missing a screw but AMAZON made us whole it comes in so many colors the second litter " 🏠"( there are 2 houses 2nd 1 nearer floor is smaller) is big enough for our " fluffy" 🐈 who is 14lbs the diagrams are super easy to read 📚 the footprint is small so if space is an issue this is the cat 🌳 for you this is our 2nd cat tree from Amazon and I'm impressed it was also in SALE👌🏼 so if you really like just wait til on sale again S&H not an issue if you have Prime it appears at this point to be super sturdy it also comes with her wrench needed to tighten screws BUT I would buy a multi sized hex screw set here on Amazon ( they are like $12 for 2 from super tiny to ex- large they fold up and you know you will put together something else together in future 😊) it's worth the purchase price happy shopping 🛍

I have no complaints, this is a great deal especially for the price, I had very low expectations ordering a cattree off if Amazon but this cat tree exceeded my expectations. It's very sturdy, it was easy to put together (although it did take about 20-30 minutes which isn't bad), and the instructions were clear. Both of my cats love it and find it very comfortable, the color looks really good as well, it doesn't take up too much space but is still big enough that it has room for the cats to play on and I'm never worried about it breaking on them, it's definitely stable and safe enough.

This is a really great cat tree. For the price I was very impressed. The carpet on the whole thing is very plush and soft and my cat loves it. She’s a bigger cat but sits on the top tier all of the time. Some of the tiers are a little wobbly due to her weight, but I just placed The tree next to a wall so it had a little extra support. Very pleased.
