Yes they did come with some dust inside, but it's easy to clean out. Super cute, well made, excellent finish and a strong secure lid. I keep this on my key chain with extra medication and I've never had an issue. Very sturdy.

Fun craft object
I loved these! They are adorable and the wood is a beautiful color. They all screwed and unscrewed easily. I cut tiny objects from paper with a precision blade (shown is the deer) and attached them inside for a crafty surprise.

Well made and unusual.
I wanted something to carry salt and pepper with me to a Renaissance Faire and these are perfect; especially since the original location of the Faire was filled with oak trees. Very useful for carrying flavorings if don’t need a lot. Also great for decorating.

Great for small stuff. The threading is tight but makes it harder to open and dump out anything inside which is great.
