The app is very easy yo use and intuitive.Plus, every Melnor bluetooth timer I've bought has lasted extreamly well. The first one I bought is 6 years old now. I store them in a small cabinet/shed thingy outside, and there they have survived yearly bouts of sub freezing weather (that destroys most of my hoses in the shed if I forget to take them into the house). In the warmer months when they are out in the garden, they are in full sun and rain and hail ... so far no problems. My only complaint is the Bluetooth power. They are used a bit away from the house, and I can only adjust the settings if I go outside. I'd prefer if they used wifi - I can easilly boost my house wifi to reach them - but I have enough of them that I'll only get wifi ones if I can be sure both my existing ones and any new ones will work with a single app. It's too much of a pain getting the timing sequences right if I have to switch back and forth between apps.I saw someone mention leakage - like I do on all pluming related screws, I use plumber's tape on the hose connection. I can't recall if I have replaced any rubber washers but I do check the ones on my hoses every year and replace any that get worn out, so I might have. I have never had any leakage.It did chew up the plastic screw threads on a cheap and poorly made pressure regulator for a drip line, but I'm pretty darn sure that was due to the pressure regulator being made of too-soft low quality plastic. (Unscrewing it to put it away for the winter damaged the threads - I wasn't holding it perfectly vertical so there was a bit of diagonal torque.)Overall a great product, if expensive.

The timer function on this is wonderful and I can program when I want my lawn watered. I can program the time and what days I would like to have my grass watered. It's easy to hook on to your faucet outside and attach a hose.

SO FAR THIS HAS WORKED OK , SOMETIMES IT MISSES A DAY TO WATER BUT OTHER THAN THAT ITS BEEN PRETTY GOOD, WAS A LITTLE HARD TO GET IT PROGRAMED RIGHT BUT FINALLY GOT IT AND IT WORKED WELL.

Great concept—control your watering through your smartphone anytime, anywhere. HUGE problem is app is designed with a 30’ range. In reality, the range is about 10-15’. I set my soaker hoses to run early in the morning while I’m asleep, but the timer doesn’t turn on if my phone is in my bedroom. Timer only works if my phone is in the room closest to the outdoor spigot. Forget ever leaving your house if you want it to work. Completely impractical!

This unit only takes alkaline AA batteries (so no rechargeables) and the manual mode never works. App says it’s feeding water but it doesn’t work. Pressing the button and activating in the app doesn’t work.

I've got three Melnor timers set up for drip systems in my yard. On average, one out of three will need to be replaced each year. Too expensive for such a short lifespan, IMO.

Easy to use

Very easy to link to my android phone. Which saves me trying to read a small screen and pressing buttons.Works just like I hoped it would. It was recommended to me by a pro landscaper

I bought this 93100 2 valves 3 weeks ago, early July 2024, valve #1 works perfectly, valve 2 stopped working,Any suggestions ?Thanks

El temporizador se logró conectar con la app de Melnor sin problemas en iphone con iOS 17.2.1. El problema es que no se integra con Homekit ni ningún otra plataforma de smart home por lo que no puedes generar automatizaciones complejas y sólo puedes operarlo a través de la app y cuando estás al alcance de la señal del Bluetooth (menos de 7metros de distancia). Puedes programar en cada válvula que días de la semana quieres que se abra para regar y en varios horarios, pero no puede programar diferentes horarios para cada día y el tiempo de riego es general para toda la programación lo cuál genera inconvenientes y poca variedad.

I am a big fan of MELNOR water timers. I have recieved and returned 2 of the Bluetooth timer I purchased from Amazon. Extremely disappointed.
