Great for elderly family.
I actually used this for my dad as an emergency button. He had cancer in his throat and couldn't talk, so if he needed help, he would push the button. He used it really frequently, and we could hear it all the way across the house. I was really pleased with it. It is loud and annoying, but that is the purpose...to get someone's attention. The great thing is that it had the button to push on the side, and for elderly it is great because it is not hard to push or hard to figure out. I recommend this for any elderly person that you want to keep safe, even tho that is not really what it is for.

I love the flashlight as well
Been rescuing Pugs for 50 years and last year I rescued 2 Chugs to go with my senior Pug. OMG they are the barker twins. I used the alarm on them just a few times and I am now in a bark free zone. They only bark if someone comes to the door and that is it. I love the flashlight as well.CM Florida

A little large to add to a keychain
These things work well and appear to be good quality. I should have read the description more closely as they are much larger than I expected. I won't carry them around and neither will my sister or girlfriend.

it is a ok product. There is a button on the side for light and another button on the other side for sound. The sound is loud but not loud enough. light is pretty good. Since it was brought as a safety device. I would have expected a screeching noise. If an old person needs help and is outdoors and i dont think the noise would reach 500 feet far person(500 ft is not that far)
