Fine licorice root powder as expected.
Great licorice root powder. We use it to sweeten the breathfreshener mix that is made of spices for post meal sanity and this works great.

Middle ground licorice root
Better priced per ounce than others. It tasted a little different than the competitor who decided to raise their prices, but overall I am happy. I would purchase again if the competitor wants more $$.

seems pretty weak
Used a recipe to make some licorice fudge (licorice powder, sugar, white chocolate, cream). Couldn't detect any licorice taste in the finished product. Of course, I don't know whether that is the fault of the recipe (calling for only 4 Tbs of licorice powder), or of the licorice powder.

Powder does not dissolve if used as skin product
I purchased this for a skin care product but it DOES NOT DISSOLVE. Many similar companies say you could use licorice powder to lighten skin. Stay away from the powder and use the extract.
