A better card reader for mobile phones, compared to similar others.
Over the last 5 years I bought at least 3 different types of those similar SD/SDXC/micro SD card reader for my iphone 6 plus. So far, this one is the best I bought. It has all the features the other similar devices have, but the features make it stand out to me is: 1. it's menu has only one button for each of it's functions, clean and easy to understand, you will not make mistake; except the "app storage" is not necessary to me because it take your cellphone space to create a folder for your memory card, instead of making a folder directly in the card although it can do so. The 2nd and best feature it has, is to allow you to see each or all pictures stored in your card on iphone in a full size, so that you can decide whether you want transfer them to your iphone photo album or not. All other cards, I bought so far, has no such a capability. The 3rd good feature is that it allows you to share all photos and files in the card to your contacts directly, through all of your iphone sharing capabilities. After I have tried this card, I ordered a second one.

App Doesn't Work on iPhone Xs
App crashes when you tap the "Albums" button to access photos...which is the reason I bought the thing. You have to use their app because the native "Files" app doesn't see the device.My iPhone is up-to-date as of 5/19, and the app says it was updated 1 month ago per the AppStore...so holding out some hope they'll fix the problem, but as of right now it's not even a good paper weight.Their apps in the AppStore are a bit confusing too!! The device I bought says, "i-FlashDeviceHD" (note the 'HD' part); however, the app you must use is called "i-FlashDevice" (no 'HD'). OK, great, but then they also have another app in the AppStore entitled "i-FlashDeviceHD", which I tried, and it doesn't see the device. Ironically it does access the photo albums just fine...So right now, my recommendation is to look elsewhere...

Works, But not so long!
Needed this to quickly transfer footage from dashcam micro-sd to the iPhone, and it worked as intended, but it keeps getting disconnected from the iPhone after being connected for a while, so had to take it off then put it back on to access the data. It could be the iphone's restrictions or the device's firmware, I'm not sure, but I ultimately bought another one for the Android phone and it works really fast with any issues.

It does the job
Using this on the iPhone X. You can’t advance video too much or else he get his hissy scratchy sound and no more video. The best way to view a video is not directly from the card reader, but you can transfer it to your phones album and then you can advance with no issues. However, if you simply want to watch the video without advancing, you can easily watch it directly from the card reader. I’m satisfied with with this gadget

Works pretty well. Wish it interfaced more natively
Works pretty well. Wish it interfaced more natively. The biggest issue I have and thing that this doesn't do, is allow me to rename files on the SD card. My issue is, the ipad won't import filenames from the stupid Garmin Virb ultra 30 cam, that uses XXXXXXXX-2.mov filenames... (i.e. 8 characters plus a dash and number for continuing files). I just need something that allows me to rename the dang files, and this didn't do it.

1 year later, still working!
This has done what I need it to at work, and has been very handy.I recommend it.The only thing about using this, which we still do and it does it's job, is the ipads we use have an otterbox case and this does not fit in the slot for the otterbox. I had to purchase another cable to extend the port out a little so that it would work.

Does not work with iOS 11. Files show up, but when you try to transfer the files to iPhone, the videos and pictures don't show up at all. App was pretty straightforward but would crash when trying to transfer larger apps or would show as offline.

First off, there’s an app you need to download for this device. Second, it doesn’t work with my iPhone which is up to date. It also didn’t work well with my MacBook. Pretty disappointed
