TEEMI 1D 2D Bluetooth Barcode Scanner with USB Cradle Data Receiver Charge Station, Wireless QR Code Reader Automatic Omnidirectional Screen Scanning Driver's License Digital Coupon Postal and OCR

So, i bought this 1st one and it wouldnt pair with ANY device, but the company is so amazing and dedicated to happy customers that they sent out another one for free within 24 hours!! The second device paired beautifully with every device, apple,and android and windows laptop, unfortunately it wouldnt pair with the one device I needed it to pair to, my mobile samsung data collection handheld computer. Though I couldnt use it for the one thing I needed it for, I tried it out on the other devices for 2 days, and it worked beautifully, captured every kind of barcode in several different apps. It feels great in the hand, light weight and seemed very durable, I liked it so much better than the usual "thumb" button scanners, the ease of a "gun trigger" was pretty great. So bottom line, this is a pretty awesome piece of equipment, and works beautifully, for everyday equipment, and the company itself is not to be compared! TEEMI cant do enough to make you happy!! You just cant go wrong!! I couldnt give it the full 5 stars it deserved only because it wouldnt pair with EVERY device and believe me i tried EVERYTHING to get it to pair.

Update to my review: After posting the original review (below) TEEMI reached out and offered to send us a free sample along with special programming barcodes to remediate the issue (which have now also been posted publicly on their website).Upon using the new programming/delay barcodes, the scanner works as expected via bluetooth on iOS devices. We did run into a small issue with a prepended control character that we had not seen from other scanners, but this was trivial to strip out.It was a little rocky of a start with this device but the TEEMI support was excellent and really made it worth it.------------Seemed like it had potential - was able to connect it to an iOS device and scan, but the data was sent out of order, rendering it useless. It would scan a barcode fine, but jumble the characters and transmit them out of order.Worked fine when transmitting to the cradle, but never worked when transmitting over bluetooth directly, which was the intended use case.

Linked up effortlessly to both my Windows 7 PC via USB as well as an older Android Tablet via Bluetooth. Decent construction and ergonomics. Will likely be purchasing more of these units.

This was the worst scanner ever. It stopped working after 3 weeks and the return window has closed. Tech support js no help everything they say try doesn’t work.

This makes the third in a series of scanners we have bought. They get heavy use in a retail environment. They are great. They are also a good buy.

I wished the instructions were more detailed. Took a while to find the right setting to scan a simple 1d barcode to my iOS device. Now working on the a 2d scan format.

These are incredible. They are used in the lunch line at our school. The student's can snap a picture of their lunch ticket on their cell phone and if they forget/lose their lunch ticket, or if they'd just prefer to use the one pictured on their cell phone, the scanner accurately and quickly scans their ticket. Saves a lot of time for everyone in the lunch line.

Great scanner! I love scanning the products I buy and see them online sometimes for lower price. Of course i can type in the UPC code myself but this makes it so much easier and faster. Also this scanner has nice features like adding an "enter" command to each scan so it starts a new line when scanning many codes in a row.

Everything is working fine!

Works great - had a few of the cheaper $30 readers, but they were a little slow and would not work with very small 2D barcodes (~8mm square). This thing works great, very fast & catches even these small barcodes without problem. Seems to connect to base OK, haven't tried Bluetooth to other devices. Primarily purchased for speed & small barcode so was a great in that front, still much cheaper than some of the name-brand ones.

So far I've tested different 1D codes connected via Bluetooth to my Samsung Galaxy S7.I didn't encounter any connection problems at all and my phone found it with less of a problem than some of my Bluetooth headphones or speakers.What's great is that the scanner can input text to your Android phone without the virtual keyboard on display which really is good.However...- The manual lacks many codes, why don't Teemi have a PDF manual with all barcode settings?- The big square scanning area posed a problem for us, since shipping barcodes and article number barcodes where only 2cm from each other. The scanner reads between 5X5cm and 30X30cm area. Why not be able to change pixel read out from 640x640 to 640x20pixels?- The Flashlight of the scanner is far too bright and it lacks any dimming options, why is this? The problem is that the LED flashlight built into the scanner creates glare on PC screens and phone screens making it hard to scan screens. Options to dim or turn it off?

Trying to get support for this scanner is impossible. We have been able to hook it up but it will not scan barcodes and there is no instructions on how to down load the information even if we were able to down load it!! We will be returning this product.

Rapide et très efficace, il prend également en compte les codes barre sur écran (smartphone, ordi, etc…). De nombreux types de codes 1D et 2D sont lus et certains peuvent être activés via un manuel plus complet que celui fourni dans la boite (il suffit de le demander au vendeur/fabricant).Pourquoi je ne mets que 4 étoiles ? Tout simplement parce que sur Mac et avec un clavier Français, le décodage de certains caractères pose problème. Et notamment tous les caractères accentués et certains caractères spéciaux dont le "@". C'est assez problématique quand on veut scanner une vCard dans un QRCode…Après de nombreux échanges avec le fabricant, il semblerait que ce pb soit matériel et nécessite une mise à jour de la puce interne. Je devrait donc trouver une autre solution dans ces cas précis qui, heureusement, ne sont pas très courant pour moi.
