For years I have been using either a wire wheel or sanding flap disc to clean rust from metal surfaces. A friend gave me one of these to try. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and evenly they removed surface rust and paint. Lately, I have been cleaning up an OLD, very rusty two-row cultivator to use with my tractor. The disc have worked well for "most" contours but are destroyed when trying to clean down into voids. For that, it is back to the Muratic Acid soak to remove the rust. The disc are 100% better for surface rust. Be sure to wear a good dust mask, eye protection and a heavy long sleeve shirt. The disc not only throw off rust, paint and welding slag but tiny threads from the disc itself. Always be safe! Myself, I wear a leather apron, gloves, a Covid-19 N97 mask and goggles over my glasses. I can still get little cuts on my face. Next item to order is a clear plastic face shield.

These disks are half the price of other disks I’ve tried and the quality is just as good. I’m painting a very large house, all by myself, I work full time and need to get this done without spending and exorbitant amount of time or money on the prep. Thank you for offering this product! Works well for removing mill scale on steel. I have even cleaned small amounts of paint (where roller fell) from brickwork, with no damage to bricks when I was done.

After using hard grinding wheels and flap wheels for years these are a game changer if you use them for there intended purpose, paint prep.Work fast with minimal sparks and dust. Life span varies on how hard you work them and how bad the surface is. Will buy again

These are well madeand strip rust like the expensive ones. I will buy them again.

These work great. Make fast work of getting paint off building. However we had to order these for a second time as the first package was reported as damaged by UPS. We have not received the first order and are still waiting on a refund from Amazon and no communication from them. Had to place a second order to get the product and now am out of money for the first order. Not happy!!!

strips metal cleanly w/o any use of force, just lay the disc on the surface & it does a good job without clogging.

Worked great to get old paint off a house after pressure washing a good chunk off. Get similar product at princess auto, but this was cheaper.
